Abstract

Mapping area covers administratively located in the Village Area Winch Tuban, East Java Province is located at coordinates 595000mT - 599 500 mT and mU 9.242 million -9,247,750 mU with a 1:25.000 scale and wide area 6x5 area km2 area PT.HOLCIM Indonesia Tbk. In geomorphic, the study area was divided into two units formed the origin, the origin of structural and karst formations, bentul structural origin of landforms valley anticline. Karst origin in the form of a hilly karst landforms and sediments terarosa. Stratigraphy consists of three areas carefully situations lithologies, from old to young is Tuban Formation claystone unit that Early Miocene (N4) in the form of its constituent lithologies; claystone, karbonatan mudstone, sandy mudstone, sandstone karbonatan, sandy limestones inserts, inserts quartz sandstone and siltstone. Formation limestone unit Paciran the Pliocene age, which consists of; limestone reefs, and the old unit Terarosa Holocene sediments consisting of limestones result destruction sedimented in a basin. Geological structures that are found in the area in the form of carefully situations stocky-muscular structure and Gentle Plunging anticline Upright Fold. Tuban Formation depositional environment is the environment deapth batial 2,000 m, and modeling in the depositional environment get the Open Marine Basin. After analyzing the data using core Meliwang ML-14, ML-30, ML-22, ML-12, ML 13, ML 23, ML-24, ML-25 in Tuban Formation which get spread Miocen early age. Area carefully situations have the potential positive and negative. Positive potential in the form of springs and limestone mines in use by PT. Holcim Indonesia Tbk. Potential negative is the claystone that is expanding (swelling)
