Abstract

This study aims to determine the resistivity value of the Merapi volcanic deposits in the watershed area of Sleman, Yogyakarta. The method used in this study includes laboratory tests of geoelectric resistivity, granulometry, mineral content. Each of these tests was carried out on samples taken in 3 major rivers in Sleman Regency, namely: Gendol River, Krasak River and Boyong River. In this case the study of geology as a basis for analysis and influence on the characteristics of physical responses The measurement results are correlated with analysis and build resistivity models. Sand sediment has resistivity variation which is inversely proportional to the increasing content of moisture content with the relationship of approach y = 8532x - 1,399 with a correlation value R2 = 0.7858.
