Abstract

RINGKASAN Penaksiran sumberdaya didapatkan melalui perhitungan dan analisis terhadap data eksplorasi detil yakni berupa data pemboran dan pemetaan. Penaksiran sumberdaya dilakukan agar dapat mengetahui taksiran jumlah tonase sumberdaya batubara dan selanjutnya akan dilakukan perhitungan stripping ratio pada lahan tersebut. Lokasi pemetaan terletak di daerah konsesi CV. Betuah seluas 157,08 hektar di mana terdapat 12 titik bor yang terletak di Desa Samboja Kuala, Kecamatan Samboja, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengaplikasikan metode Cross Section dalam menentukan dan mengestimasi jumlah sumberdaya batubara di daerah penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan cara pengamatan di lapangan menggunakan metode penaksiran cadangan yakni metode Cross Section dengan membandingkan antara pedoman perubahan bertahap (rule of gradual change) dengan pedoman titik terdekat (rule of nearest point). Hasil penelitian yang diharapkan adalah dapat menentukan volume sumberdaya pada overburden, seam A, interburden dan seam B, menentukan tonase batubara, dan stripping ratio (SR). Berdasarkan penaksiran sumberdaya batubara dengan menggunakan metode Cross Section dengan pedoman perubahan bertahap (rule of gradual change) dengan jarak antar sayatan ≤ 53,55 meter dan diperoleh sumberdaya batubara terukur (Measured Coal Resource) seam A adalah sebesar 19.936 ton dan seam B adalah 49.001 ton, jadi total tonnage batubara adalah sebesar 92.323 ton. Volume overburden dan interburden yang didapatkan adalah sebesar 191.491 Bcm dengan Stripping Ratio(SR) 2,07:1. Metode Cross Section dengan pedoman titik terdekat (rule of nearest point) dengan jarak antar sayatan sebesar ≤ 26,78 meter dengan diperoleh sumberdaya batubara terukur (Measured Coal Resource) seam A adalah sebesar 19.936 ton dan seam B adalah sebesar 49.001 ton, jadi total tonnage batubara adalah sebesar 68.937 ton, serta volume overburden dan interburden yang didapatkan adalah sebesar 142.708 Bcm. dengan Stripping Ratio(SR) 2,09:1. ABSTRACT Resource assessment obtained through calculation and analysis of the data in the form of detailed exploration drilling and mapping of data. Resource assessment carried out in order to determine the estimated amount of tonnage of coal resource and the subsequent stripping ratio will be calculated on the land. Mapping the location of the concession area is located in the CV. Betuah an area of 157.08 hectares where there are 12 drilling points are located in the village of Kuala Samboja, Samboja district, Kutai regency, East Kalimantan province.
