Abstract

RINGKASAN
Pada proses perencanaan tambang terbuka dan bawah tanah memerlukan
suatu tahapan,seperti proses diawali dengan pemboran inti di lapangan untuk
memperoleh kondisi batuan dan conto batuan bagi kepentingan geologi, cadangan
dan geoteknik. Untuk keperluan geoteknik dilakukan pengujian laboratorium
untuk mengetahui sifat fisik dan sifat mekanik.Pada penelitian ini pengujian
dilakukan terhadap dua jenis litologi yaitu batu lempung dan batu pasir. Hasil
pengujian sifat fisik menggunakan parameter bobot isi asli, kadar air asli dan
porositas, sedangkan sifat mekanik parametar yang digunakan nilai kuat tekan dan
modulus Young.
Hubungan antara bobot isi asli, kadar air asli dan porositas saling
berpengaruh satu sama lain.
Hubungan antara kuat tekan uniaksial dan modulus Young pada litologi
batu lempung dan litologi batu pasir, kenaikan kuat tekan uniaksial dapat diikuti
oleh kenaikan modulus young pada kondisi batuan yang sama. Maka pada batuan
yang sama nilai kadar air dan porositas yang meningkat akan diikuti menurunnya
nilai kuat tekan dan otomatis nilai modulus Young akan menurun atau berkurang.
Brady & Brown (1985) mengatakan bahwa untuk mineralogi yang sama,
kuat tekan uniaksial (c) akan berkurang dengan peningkatan porositas, derajat
pelapukan, derajat “microfissure” dan kadar air.
Hubungan antara bobot isi asli dengan nilai kuat tekan dan modulus
Young pada litologi batu lempung dan litologi batu pasir, yang didapatkan
semakin besar bobot isi asli akan diikuti dengan nilai kuat tekan dan modulus
Young.
Hubungan kadar air asli dengan kuat tekan dan modulus Young pada
litologi lempung terjadi sedikit anomali, karna sifat dari batu lempung mempunyai
sifat plastisitas yang tinggi.
Hubungan pada litologi batu pasir hubungan kadar asli denga nilai kuat te
kan uniaksial dan modolus Young semakin besar nilai kadar asli maka semakin
kecil nilai kuat tekan dan modulus Young
Hubungan antara porositas dengan kuat tekan dan modulus Young
didapatkan semakin besar nilai kuat tekan dan modulus Young maka nilai
porositas yang didapatkan akan semakin kecil.

ABSTRACT
In the planning process open and underground mines require a stage, as
the process begins with a core drilling in the field to obtain the condition of rocks
and rock samples for geological interests, reserves and geotechnical. For the
purposes of geotechnical laboratory testing to determine the physical properties
and mechanical properties. In this study, testing was conducted on two types of
lithology is claystone and sandstone. Test results using the physical properties of
the original parameters of bulk density, moisture content and porosity of the
original, while the mechanical properties are used clasification compressive
strength and Young's modulus.
The relationship between the weight of the original content, original
moisture content and porosity of each other with respect to each other.
The relationship between uniaxial compressive strength and Young's
modulus on claystone lithology and lithology of sandstone, the increase of
uniaxial compressive strength can be followed by an increase in Young's modu
lus in the same rock conditions. Then the same rock water content and porosity
increases will follow the declining value of the compressive strength and Young's
modulus values will be automatically decreased or diminished.
Brady&Brown (1985) says that for the same mineralogy, uniaxial
compressive strength (c) will decrease with an increase in porosity, degree of
weathering, degree of "microfissure" and water content.
The relationship between the weight of the original contents with the
compressive strength and Young's modulus on claystone lithology and lithology
of sandstone, which obtained the greater weight of the original contents will be
followed by the compressive strength and Young's modulus.
Original water content relationship with compressive strength and Young's
modulus on claystone lithology occurs slightly anomalous, because the nature of
the clays have a high plasticity properties.
Relationships relationship levels on the sand lithology original premises
uniaxial compressive strength and Young’s modulus original content the greater
the value, the smaller the compressive strength and Young's.
The relationship between compressive strength and porosity of the
obtained Young's modulus greater compressive strength and Young's modulus of
the porosity values obtained will be smaller.
