Abstract
Science and technology mentoring progam for export product is an assiting progam of Ministry of Higher Education to boost the potential of local product as the main export product area. Assited partners in the progam are two business groups namely batik Kube (joint business group) Sekar Arum and Kube Sri Kuncoro in the village Wukirsari, as well as tourist village batik centers in the district of imogiri Bantul. Mentoring program focused in order to improve marketing and production capacity to break through yhe international market. Several program plans that have been done are the layout rearrangement design program; the processing of solid and liquid waste; offline and online promotion practices; the practices of attractive packaging; the practice of batik derivative product diversification, and import export education. Empowerement methods employ the apporoach of active participation of members of the group. Progam indicators that have been achieved are an increase in production capacity (15%-20%); an increase in sales (10%-20%), and decrease chances of defective product (10%). In a addition to recording indicator achievement percentage growth in production and sales, this research has also produced several tangible outcomes such as websites, product catalogs, saleable packaging, prototypes of home interior batik handicraft product, and many more.
