Abstract
Kota Surakarta memiliki Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir (TPA) yang terletak di Kelurahan Mojosongo, Kecamatan Jebres. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi IPAL di TPA Putri Cempo, Mengetahui pengaruh air lindi terhadap pencememaran air sungai, Mendesain IPAL dengan metode aerasi dan metode adsorpsi media arang aktif, dan mengkaji lahan yang sesuai untuk IPAL berdasarkan jurnal Teknik Lingkungan oleh Samsuhadi tahun 2012 pada TPA Putri Cempo. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode survei dan pemetaan lapangan, metode pengharkatan (scoring) untuk menghitung nilai kelayakan lahan, metode purposive sampling, metode analisis matematis dan laboratorium untuk menguji sampel air lindi dan air sungai, metode grid untuk menentukan sampel pengukuran ketinggian muka airtanah serta melakukan percobaan skala kecil metode aerasi dan metode adsorpsi dan metode skoring untuk menentukan lokasi IPAL yang baru. Berdasarkan hasil survei dan pengukuran di lapangan, analisis dan evaluasi data didapatkan hasil penelitian yaitu TPA Putri Cempo memiliki Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) tidak layak dan tidak dapat berfungsi, kondisi bagunan IPAL yang sudah rusak dan lokasi IPAL yang jauh dari timbunan sampah Aktif.Hasil pengujian sampel air sungai melebihi standar baku terhadap parameter BOD, COD, TDS, Fe, dan Pb dengan nilai indeks pencemar 9,132 yang berarti air sungai tercemar sedang. Hasil percobaan skala laboratorium metode aerasi terhadap air lindi mengalami penurunan kadar yaitu BOD dengan nilai yaitu 201,6 mg/L, COD dengan nilai yaitu 513,28 mg/L, TDS dengan nilai yaitu 7282 mg/L, Fe dengan nilai yaitu 3,83 mg/L, dan Pb dengan nilai yaitu 1,07 mg/L. Hasil percobaan skala laboratorium metode adsorpsi arang aktif terhadap air lindi mengalami penurunan kadar TDS dengan nilai yaitu 5692 mg/L, Fe dengan nilai yaitu 2,18 mg/L, dan Pb dengan nilai yaitu 0,63 mg/L. Lahan yang direncanakan sebagai lokasi pembangunan IPAL pada TPA Putri Cempo masuk dalam kriteria SESUAI dengan nilai 390. Dimensi IPAL rekomendasi dengan debit 143,136 m3/hari yaitu kolam unit aerasi panjang 5 m x lebar 3,5 m x tinggi 1,5 m dan kolam unit adsorpsi media arang aktif dengan panjang 2,5 m x lebar 2,8 m x tinggi 1,5 m. Oleh : Ilham Azhar Ardiyan 114130007 ABSTRACT Surakarta city has a final disposal site located in Mojosongo, Jebres District. This study aims to evaluate the condition of waste water treatment plant (WWTP) in Putri Cempo Landfill, determining the influence of leachate to river water pollution, designing WWTP by using aeration method and active charcoal adsorption method, and assess land suitable for WWTP based on Environmental Engineering Journal by Samsuhadi that published on 2012. The methods being used in this research are survey method and field mapping, scoring method to determining the value of land feasibilty, purposive sampling method, mathematical analysis and laboratory to test leachate and river water samples, grid method for determining samples of groundwater level measurements, doing small scale experiments for aeration and adsorption method, and use the scoring method to determine the location of the new WWTP. Based on test that has been done the result of this research is the Putri Cempo Landill has a waste water treatment plant (WWTP) that is not feasible and can not function, the condition of waster water treatment that have been damage and the location of waster water treatment plan that is far from the active landfill. The results of testing river water samples for BOD, COD, TDS, Fe and Pb parameters is exceeded the standards with index pollution score 9,132 that means the river water classified as medium polluted. The results of laboratory experiments with aeration method on leachate water are decreasing on BOD levels that become 201,6 mg/L, COD levels become 513,28 mg/L, TDS levels become 7282 mg/L, Febecome 3,83 mg/L, and decreasing on Pb rates become1,07 mg/L. While the results of laboratory experiments with charcoal adsorption method on leachate water can reduced TDS levels become 5692 mg/L, Fe levels become 2,18 mg/L, and reduce Pb rates become 0,63 mg/L. The land which has been planned as the construction site of WWTP classified as suitable with score 390. Dimensions for WWTP that recommended with water discharge by 143,136 m3/day is the aeration unit with leght 5 m x wide 3,5 m x high 1,5 m and charcoal adsorption unit with leght 2,5 m x wide 2,8 m x high 1,5 m.
