Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the role of UN Women in overcoming trafficking in women in India, assisting the Thai government in empowering victims of trafficking in women and reducing the rate of violence against women. UN Women applies gender equality between men and women in Thailand. The research was conducted descriptively and the technique of data collection was done by "Literature Study" or library research. The results of the research obtained by UN Women have not succeeded in effectively reducing the number of victims of trafficking in women but UN Women carry out their work obligations in terms of empowering victims of trafficking in women by making shelter for victims along with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.
