Abstract
Selama proses aklimatisasi, tanaman muda membutuhkan kondisi yang mendukung agar tetap tumbuh dan secara bertahap beradaptasi terhadap kondisi lingkungan yang sangat berbeda dengan lingkungan kultur jaringan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi media aklimatisasi dan jenis leri terhadap pertumbuhan bibit pisang Abaka. Penelitian dilakukan pada 29 Agustus sampai 12 Oktober 2018 di Balai Benih Hortikultura (KBH) Salaman, Magelang, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah komposisi media aklimatisasi yaitu pasir : kompos : arang sekam (1 : 1 : 1) dan pasir : kompos : cocopeat (1 : 1 : 1). Faktor kedua adalah jenis leri yaitu beras putih, beras merah dan beras hitam. Setiap unit percobaan diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Data dianalisis keragamannya dengan menggunakan sidik ragam pada taraf 5% dan dilakukan uji lanjut dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan (UJBD) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi media pasir : kompos : arang sekam (1 : 1 : 1) menghasilkan pertumbuhan yang lebih baik pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, klorofil daun, dan bobot segar tanaman. Leri beras merah lebih baik daripada leri beras putih dan hitam pada bobot segar tanaman. Terdapat interaksi pada bobot kering tanaman. Kata kunci : aklimatisasi, arang sekam, cocopeat, leri, pisang Abaka ABSTRACT During the acclimatization procces, young plant needs a condition so that it grows and stage adapt period to different external condition equal internal condition. This research aimed to found out the effect of acclimatization media composition and type of leri on Abaca banana growth. This research was conducted on 29 August until 12 October 2018 in Horticulture Seed Hall, Salaman, Magelang, Central Java. This research used two factors field experiment arranged in Completely Randomized Design. The first factor was acclimatization media composition that is sand : compost : husk charcoal (1 : 1 : 1) and sand : compost : sawdust (1 : 1 : 1). The second factor was type of leri that is white rice, red rice, and black rice. Each experiment unit was repeated four times. The observation data were analyzed by analysis of variance at 5% and continued with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5%. The result showed that media composition sand : compost : husk charcoal (1 : 1 : 1) provided a better to the growth to plant high, total leaf, leaf wide, leaf clorofil, and plant weight fresh. Red rice of leri better than white rice and black rice of leri to plant weight fresh. There was interaction to plant weight dry. Keywords : acclimatization, husk charcoal, sawdust, leri, Abaca banana
