Abstract

ABSTRACT Amorphophallus spp., one of areceace family is a multiyer plant, producer of carbohydrate, which able to life wildly in dry season area, from low land until 800 , height from sea level. Iles-iles is containing of glukomannan which is important in food, pharmacy, and paper industrial, and the only one source of non-tree mannan. Blbil is matter of plant which can be found relative fast, but after planting can not grow quickly (5-6 month dormancy). Research of iles-iles (Amorphophallus Muelleri Blume) bulbil response to NAA oncentration have been conducted in tissue culture laboratory, Agriculture Faculty of Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” University, since March to August 2006. Completely Randomize Design is used in 3 x 5 factorial with 5 replication. The first factor is piece of bubil that hve 3 levels (intact, a half, and a quarter of bulbil). The second factor is variety of NAA plant growth concertration (0,0 ; 0,5 ; 1,0 ; 1,5 ; 2,0) mg/l. To regognize the effect of the treath to the bulbil growth, variance analize was done at 5 % level of precission and advance examined with DMRT at 5% level. Result or research showed that plant seedling can be found more rapidly by tissue culture technique in different concentration of NAA. The quarter bulbil explant showed higher growth percentage, faster emerge of shoot and root, higher shoot, and longer root. 2,0 mg/l NAA concentration produce higher of growth percentage, more fast time for emerge of shoot, more number of shoot, higher shoot, larger shoot diameter and more number of shoot.
