Abstract

ABSTRACT UP Parno is a Mining Business engaged in the mining of limestone in the village of Karang Asem, District Ponjong, Gunung Kidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Mining system by UP Parno is an open quarry system with quarry method. After UP Parno perform mining activities there are still ex-mining areas that need to be arranged and must be reclaimed to be returned according to Begining. The objective of the research was to make post-mining reclamation plan on the former mining of systematic limestone. This reclamation plan is needed to improve post-mining land by revegetation of crops and reorganization of land according to their allocation. Based on the results of the research, an analysis of the level of erosion hazard on the former mining field and the availability of existing shoots that affect the process of structuring and shifting soil methods for the revegetation of former mining areas that have not been reclaimed and the former land dismantling support facilities that will be reclamation. For land reclamation with total area of 1.4 hectares, 1.2 ha for ex-mining area and 0.2 ha for former land dismantling of supporting facilities, the amount of available shoots is 5,600 LCM so the topsoil shoot method that will be used is the method potted plants with total shoots in use is 875 m3, the method of land smoothing and guludan can not be used because of the limited availability of land. The number of plants in use as many as 750 plants for the former mining area and 125 plants for the area of former land dismantling of supporting facilities then the total number of plants needed for revegetation activities is 875 plants with marine and coconut sengon plants that will be in use according to company recommendations.
