Abstract

Abstract: Financial Behavior of Senior High School and Vocational High School teachers in Palembang. This study aims to find out the financial behavior of Senior High School and Vocational High School teachers in Palembang. 165 respondents were involved in this study. Technique of collecting data was using survey, questionnaires were distributed to the teachers in some Senior High Schools and Vocational High Schools in Palembang. Sample was chosen by using convenience sampling techniques. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and tests, independent t-test and ANOVA test. The results of research revealed that 47.5% of the respondents are in average category, 41.4%are in good category, 3.1% are in very good category and 8% are in bad category, and no respondents are in very bad category. The most frequent financial behavior performedis“increasing savings when having more income” with average score is 3.73 and the mostinfrequent financial behavior performedis “having more than one type of investments (such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds)" with average score is 1.38. Based on the gender, both men and women have the same financial behavior and there are no differences in financial behavior based on monthly income. Abstrak: Perilaku Keuangan Guru-Guru SMA/SMK di Palembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku keuangan guru-guru SMA/SMK di Palembang.Jumlah responden 162 orang, Teknik Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan survei, dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pada guru-guru di beberapa SMA/SMK di Palembang, pengambilan sampel dengan cara convenience sampling . Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, sedangkan uji beda menggunakan uji independent t-test dan uji ANOVA .Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perilaku keuangan responden dari kategori perilaku keuangan yang termasuk cukup baik sebesar 47,5% , dan kategori baik sebesar 41,4% , hanya 3,1% kategori sangat baik dan 8 % masuk pada kategori buruk , dan tidak ada responden yang kategori sangat buruk.Perilaku keuangan yang paling banyak dilakukan adalah “menambah jumlah tabungan ketika ada tambahan penghasilan” dengan skor rata-rata 3,73 dan perilaku keuangan yang paling sedikit dilakukan adalah “memiliki lebih dari satu jenis investasi ( seperti saham , obligasi, reksadana)” dengan skor rata-rata 1,38.Tidak ada perbedaan perilaku keuangan berdasarkan gender, laki-laki dan perempuan memiliki perilaku keuangan yang sama. Tidak ada perbedaan perilaku keuangan berdasarkan penghasilan bulanan. Kata Kunci: Perilaku Keuangan, Guru-Guru
