Abstract
SUMMARY Natural resources is one of the basic capital in national development, therefore should be utilized as much as possible for the prosperity of the people by paying attention to the sustainability of the surrounding environment. One of the activities in utilizing natural resources is mining of minerals. PT. Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (PT. AMNT) is a mining company engaged in gold-copper ore mining located in Sekongkang District, West Sumbawa Regency, NTB Province. The activities undertaken by PT. Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara currently has negative impacts on the environment such as decreasing land productivity, erosion and sedimentation and avalanche of disturbed land. Evaluation of reclamation implementation aimed to evaluate the implementation of reclamation success ie land management, revegetation, and final settlement, based on (Kepmen ESDM) Number 1827 K/30/MEM/2018 on Guidelines for the application of good mining engineering rules. Evaluation conducted on the reclamation activities within 5 (five) years in 2012-2016 with the parameters of the area that is laid out, whether there is a channel of water management and plant growth. Based on these parameters the average rate of success of reclamation for land management activities (2012-2016). reaching 44.82%, where most of the lands are in the process of erosion due to the conservation of land arrangement that has not been optimal and the lack of water management channel on the land arranged so that it needs to be done land conservation in the form of terracing bench and water management channel so that land management activities can goes well. The success of the average revegetation in the last 5 (five) years reached > 80%. The final implementation of canopy cover and maintenance has reached > 80%. Based on the Regulation of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number Number 1827 K/30/MEM/2018 on Guidelines for the application of good mining engineering rules, the success rate of reclamation of PT. Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara in the period of 5 (five) years reached 79.49%. So that the implementation of reclamation conducted by PT. Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara is included in the medium criterion that the results of reclamation implementation can be accepted with the record need to be improved until it reaches > 80%.
