Abstract
Financial reporting practices of politcal parties in Indonesia and still require review more, with regard to the discourse issued by the Interior Minster Tjahjo Kumolo who knowingl disseminated concerning the financing of political parties from the state budget amounting to Rp 1 trillion per year. The discourse will be studied furher after the elections (Eleections) 2019. This type of research is empirical, sampling done randomly. In each of the major island in Indonesia in order to get data based on characteristics of the voters in five major islands in Indonesia, the island of Java, Sulawesi island, the island of Borneo, Sumatra island, and the island of Papua. Penggunaan tight control over the state budget for political parties to be followed by harsh sanctions if there are violatioons, icluding the dissolutions of politacal parties. This is expected toi improve the financial reporting of political parties to be transparent, timely, and in its implementation. Please note that the financial statements submitted political parties, both campaign finance reports and anual reports are very inadequate and incomplete presentation. Even a bit of a political party’s annual reports.
