Abstract

It is well known that ASP flooding is the best chemical EOR method to increase the oil recovery. However, in some case when the permeability is very low, the use of polymer sometimes can become a problem since the polymer can block the pore and increase the injecting pressure. in this study, we try to compare the oil recovery that can be recovered using alkali-surfactant flooding instead of alkali-surfactant polymer flooding.
