Abstract

ABSTRACT PT. Cipta Kridatama is a company which is engaged in coal mining contractor. PT. Cipta Kridatama undertakes Pit C0 Block E which is owned by PT. Mahakam Sumber Jaya (MSJ PT.). It lies in Makarti, Marangkayu Subdistrict, Kutai Kartanegara District, Kalimantan Timur Province. PT. Mahakam Sumber Jaya (MSJ PT.) use surface mining system. PT. Cipta Kridatama accomplishes overburden stripping activities with conventional method which combines between digging loading tools and hauling tools. Operation used 4 Liebherr R 9250 digging loading tools and 24 Caterpillar 777D hauling tools. Production target PT. Cipta Kridatama was planned is 1.015 BCM/Jam in Pit C0 Block E of PT. Mahakam Sumber Jaya. Production target could be attained with repairing of loading technique and working time effectivity. Double back up loading technique could increase production target which used single back up before and repair effectivity of workin time could increase working efficiency. Stripping overburden production repaired at loading technique showed 10,51 minutes of cycle time and 941,10 BCM/Jam of hauling production. Working time effectivity could be increased with pressing obstacles time so that digging loading time effectivity was 81,51 % and digging loading time production was 1.029,71 BCM/Jam while hauling time effectivity increased 83,54% and hauling production was 952,80 BCM/Jam. Mean of repairing production was 1.029,71 BCM/Jam of Liebherr R9250 and 1024,49 BCM/Jam of Caterpillar 777D so that production target was planned by PT. Cipta Kridatama had achieved
