Abstract
Salah satu kasus korupsi yang beberapa waktu ini menyita perhatian
publik adalah kasus suap wisma atlet. Kasus yang melibatkan beberapa kader atau
anggota dari Partai Demokrat yang dibina oleh Presiden Susilo Bambang
Yudhoyono itu sendiri. Angelina Sondakh salah satu politisi Partai Demokrat
diduga terlibat kasus ini. Namun, dalam persidangannya sebagai saksi dalam
kasus suap wisma atlet Angie sapaan akrabnya mengaku tidak pernah menerima
imbalan dari proyek wisma atlet, walaupun terdapat bukti yang menyatakan ia
ikut terlibat dalam kasus tersebut. Peristiwa ini dianggap penting oleh media
massa, seperti Surat Kabar Harian Kedaulatan Rakyat. Semua berita yang
diinfromasikan tidak apa adanya, melainkan hasil dari konstruksi sosial dalam
media tersebut. Dalam konstruksi realitas media, media massa mengolah
informasi yang akan disampaikan kepada khalayak menurut pandangan dan
ideologinya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis framing untuk mengetahui bagaimana
Surat Kabar Harian Kedaulatan Rakyat membingkai peristiwa persidangan
Angelina Sondakh sebagai saksi dalam kasus suap wisma atlet. mengetahui
bagaimana frame dan cara yang digunakan Surat Kabar Harian Kedaulatan Rakyat
dalam penonjolan suatu peristiwa. Analisis framing yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini adalah model framing dari Zhondang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki.
Model analisis framing ini dipakai untuk menjelaskan bagaimana cara menyusun
fakta (sintaksis), bagaimana fakta dikisahkan (skrip) dan ditulis (tematik),
kemudian bagaimana fakta tersebut ditekankan (retoris)
Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat dilihat bahwa Kedaulatan Rakyat
berkecenderungan mendukung sikap dari KPK untuk mengungkapkan dan
menuntaskan kasus korupsi ini. Frame dari Kedaulatan Rakyat itu sendiri yaitu
kesaksian Angelina Sondakh merupakan kebohongan di mata masyarakat untuk
melindungi sosok “Ketua Besar” dan kasus korupsi ini dilakukan secara
sistematis. Kedaulatan Rakyat lebih mengandalkan paparan dari narasumber yang
terkait dalam penuntasan kasus korupsi ini. Namun, dalam pemberitaannya,
Kedaulatan Rakyat cenderung bersikap datar, kurang berani melakukan kritikan
yang tajam. Falsafah ngono yo ngono neng ojo ngono masih berlaku bagi surat
kabar ini dalam mengkonstruksi suatu peristwa. Bagi Kedaulatan Rakyat, orang
yang sudah bersalah, jangan dipojokkan lagi dengan pemberitaan di media
One of the cases of corruption that some public attention when it was a

This study uses framing analysis to determine how the Sovereignty of the
People's Daily Newspapers framing events Angelina Sondakh trial as a witness in
a bribery case house athletes. knowing how to frame and the way in which the
People's Sovereignty Daily Newspapers in the protrusion of an event. Analysis of
framing used in this study is a model of framing Zhondang Pan and Gerald M.
Kosicki. Framing analysis model was used to explain how to arrange facts
(syntax), how the facts narrated (script) and written (thematic), and how this fact
is emphasized (rhetorical).
From these results, it can be seen that the Sovereignty of the People tended
supports the position of the Commission to disclose and resolve this corruption
case. Frame of the People's Sovereignty itself is testimony Angelina Sondakh a lie
in the eyes of the public to protect the figure of "Big Chief" and corruption is done
systematically. Sovereignty of the People rely more exposure from sources
involved in the completion of this corruption case. However, in preaching,
Sovereignty of the People tend to be flat, lacking the courage to sharp criticism.
Philosophy ngono yo ngono neng ojo ngono still applies to this newspaper in
constructing an event. For the Sovereignty of the People, who are innocent, do not
be cornered again with the news in the media.
