Abstract
At this time the development of industry in Indonesia is getting faster, with the
rapid development of the work demands that the company wants to change. To support
the work environment is easier and more convenient, one way to do is to apply the
regular working culture that the company is getting a good work culture. CV.Sumber
Agung Meubel . The industry includes a set of people (employees) who each day doing a
variety of work activities. To finish the job into duties and functions of each wor ker. The
company provides a variety of support facilities work, which is expected to support the
completion of the work. The research was conducted before and after implementation of
improved working environment in order to obtain performance comparison between
before and after improvements, so as to improve workforce performance.
The basis of research for workforce performance improvement is when the
concept of 5-S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) can already be applied to both the
performance of the workforce will have increased. In this study will apply the concept of
5-S to analyze the performance improvement of workers before and after implementation
in the CV. Sumber Agung Meubel.
Of workforce performance comparison between conditions before and after
application of 5-S concept can be concluded that the application of the concept of 5-S is
able to improve the performance of workers, known from the time required to complete
the stages in the manufacture of products (door). With the results of t he number of
products /day can be known from the start the process of making products door /day after
the application of the product is 2 (door) with a time of 3.37 hours for 8 hours of work of
which the previous wktu only 1 product (door) /day with 6,618 hours working time for 8
hours of work time.

Pada saat ini perkembangan dunia industri di Indonesia semakin cepat,
dengan perkembangan yang semakin cepat tuntutan kerja yang diinginkan
perusahaan semakin berubah. Untuk mendukung kondisi lingkungan kerja yang lebih
mudah dan lebih nyaman, salah satu cara yang harus dilakukan adalah menerapkan
budaya kerja yang teratur agar budaya kerja diperusahaan semakin baik. CV.Sumber
Agung Meubel. Industri tersebut meliputi sekumpulan orang-orang (pekerja) yang
setiap hari melakukan berbagai aktivitas kerja. Untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan yang
menjadi tugas pokok dan fungsi masing-masing pekerja. Perusahaan menyediakan
berbagai fasilitas pendukung kerja, sehingga diharapkan dapat mendukung
penyelesaian pekerjaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah penerapan
perbaikan lingkungan kerja agar dapat diperoleh perbandingan performansi antara
sebelum dan sesudah perbaikan, sehingga mampu meningkatkan performansi tenaga
kerja.
Dasar dari penelitian untuk peningkatan performansi tenaga kerja adalah
apabila konsep 5-S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) sudah dapat diterapkan
dengan baik maka performansi tenaga kerja pun akan mengalami peningkatan.
Dalam penelitian ini akan menerapkan konsep 5-S untuk menganalisis peningkatan
performansi pekerja sebelum dan sesudah penerapan di CV. Sumber Agung Meubel.
Dari perbandingan performansi tenaga kerja antara kondisi sebelum dan
sesudah penerapan konsep 5-S dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan konsep 5-S
mampu meningkatkan performansi pekerja, diketahui dari waktu yang dibutuhkan
untuk menyelesaikan tahap-tahap dalam pembuatan produk (pintu). Dengan hasil
jumlah produk perhari dapat diketahui dari mulai proses pembuatan produk pintu per
hari setelah penerapan adalah 2 produk (pintu) dengan waktu 3,37 jam selama 8 jam
wktu kerja dari yg sebelumnya hanya 1 produk (pintu) per hari dengan waktu
pengerjaan 6,618 jam selama 8 jam waktu kerja.
