Abstract
ABSTRAK
Dalam penelitian ini penulis meneliti film Soekarno. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna dan pesan nilai kepahlawanan yang
terkandung dalam film Soekarno ini. Dalam mengintepretasikan film Soekarno,
peneliti menggunakan metode semiotika dari Roland Barthes yaitu Two orders of
signification (signifikasi dua tahap atau dua tatanan tentang tanda) Barthes terdiri
dari first order of signification yaitu denotasi, dan second orders of
significationyaitu konotasi. Tatanan yang pertama mencakup penanda dan petanda
yang berbentuk tanda. Tanda inilah yang disebut makna denotasi. Denotasi adalah
tingkat pertandaan yang menjelaskan hubungan antara tanda dan rujukan pada
realitas, yang menghasilkan makna yang eksplisit, langsung, dan pasti. Sedangkan
konotasi adalah tingkat pertandaan yang menjelaskan hubungan antara
penandadan yang ditandai, yang di dalamnya beroperasi makna yang bersifat
implisit dan tersembunyi. Peneliti dalam mengintepretasikan makna nilai
kepahlawanan Soekarno dalam Film Soekarno ialah Keberanian, Pantang
Menyerah, Toleransi, Rela Berkorban, Perrcaya pada Kekuata sendiri, Peduli
terhadap sesama, Persatuan dan kesatuan, Kesetiakawanan Sosial. Citra Soekarno
dalam film ini digambarkan sebagai sosok yang berani, tegas dan pandai
berwibawa.

ABSTRACT
In this study the authors examined the Soekarno movie. This study aims to
determine the meaning and message of heroism values contained in this Soekarno
movie. In the film interpret Soekarno, researcher used semiotic methods of
Roland Barthes ie Two orders of signification (signification two-stage or two
orders about sign) Barthes consists of a first order of signification of denotation,
and second orders of signification that connotation. The first order includes the
signifier and signified in the form of a sign. Sign is called the meaning of
denotation. Denotation is signs level which describes the relationship between
signs and references to reality, which generates meaning explicit, direct and
certain. While the connotation level which describes the relationship between
signifier and signified, in which the operational meaning is implicit and
hidden.Researchers in interpreting the meaning of heroism Soekrno value in
Soekarno film is Courage, Never Surrender, tolerance, sacrifice, Nationalist and
Patriotic, Caring for others, unity and the union, Social Solidarity. Image soekarno
in the film is described as the figure bold, firm and smart authoritative.
