Abstract
Turkish government under Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan faced heavy pressure because of allegations of corruption involving members of the cabinet and his family was rumored to be involved in cases of manipulation and corruption and bribery in the government of Erdogan. Erdogan decided policy of blocking Twitter and Youtube, and harsh condemnation on the internet. Widespread campaigns secularists Party (CHP), which accused the AKP as the party which carries a mission to destroy secularism. It reduces people's trust and scale back the election victory of the AKP in Turkey in 2014. But of all the problems and issues that was widely rumored, the AKP party won elections in 2014 remains both in parliament and in the election of the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered into Turkish president in elections carried out directly for the first time. Based on the background of the problems mentioned above, the purpose of this study was to determine the victory of Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the Turkish presidential elections in 2014. The method used is library research or are literature study, by collecting, studying, and analyzing data taken from books or libraries, papers, journals, articles, newspapers, official documents published or unpublished, website as well as various other media. That is why Erdogan is still a political figure unmatched in Turkey with a charisma that deliver AKP victory in the parliamentary elections and usher Erdogan became president of Turkey. Erdogan personal factors also have leadership modalities Erdogan during his reign that the track record and the success of economic growth and national stability is another factor that led to the victory of Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the presidential election in 2014. Erdogan considered successful lift the Turkish economy through economic reform, and Erdogan became a great leader Turkey's economy has improved to a more prosperous path.
