ABSTRAK
Bisnis grosir adalah penggerak ekonomi yang penting di Indonesia karena tingkat
perputaran barangnya yang cepat. Keberadaan bisnis grosir ini sangat penting karena
menjadi penghubung antara produsen barang dengan toko retail, sehingga hampir disetiap
wilayah terdapat bisnis grosir salah satunya Gendut Grosir yang terletak di daerah
Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. Ada beberapa kendala yang terjadi dalam menjalankan bisnis di
toko Gendut Grosir yaitu antrian yang panjang karena proses pelayanan masih manual,
belum adanya sistem pembukuan, dan beberapa kali terjadi kecurangan yang dilakukan oleh
pegawai. Berdasarkan kendala tersebut maka pada penelitian ini akan dibangun sebuah
sistem penjualan yang mampu mengatasi masalah yang ada. Proses pengembangan sistem
dilakukan dengan metode Waterfall dengan tahapan yaitu requirement analysis and
definition, system and software design, implementation and unittesting, integration and
system testing, operation and maintenance. Sistem yang dibangung akan menggunakan
bahasa pemrograman Javascript dan database MongoDB. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan
penurunan kesalahan pencatatan transaksi dari 1 minggu sebelum implementasi sistem
sebesar 33,3%, 16,6% pada minggu pertama setelah implementasi, 6,14% pada minggu
kedua setelah implementasi, dan 2,78% pada minggu ketiga setelah implementasi.
Kata kunci: Waterfall; Web; Sistem Penjualan Barang.

ABSTRACT
Grocery business is an important economic in Indonesia because of the fast things
turnover. The existence of this grocery business is very important because it is a link
between goods producers and retail stores, so that almost every region has a grocery
business, for example is Gendut Grosir which is located in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. There
are several obstacles that occur in conduct a business at the Gendut Grosir store, there are
long queues because the service process is still manual, there is not bookkeeping system,
and cheating occurred in several times by employees. Based on these obstacles, this research
will build a sales system that is able to overcome existing problems. The system
development process is using the Waterfall method with the steps are requirements analysis
and definition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration and
system testing, operation and maintenance. The system built will use the Javascript
programming language and the MongoDB database. The results of this study show a
decrease in transaction recording errors from 1 week before system implementation by
33.3%, 16.6% in the first week after implementation, 6.14% in the second week after
implementation, and 2.78% in the third week after implementation.
