Abstract
ABSTRAK
Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya keterkaitan para pemangku
kepentingan di Kampoeng Dolanan Borobudur dalam membantu pengembangan
destinasi wisata budaya di Kabupaten Magelang. Pengembangan destinasi wisata
Kampoeng Dolanan dilakukan dengan cara misi pelestarian permainan tradisional
yang sudah hampir punah ingin membentuk karakter anak bangsa dan ingin
menghasilkan multiplier effect bagi seluruh aspek masyarakat. Kesulitan
komunikasi pariwisata dalam ranah modern dan semakin menurunnya eksistensi
dari permainan atau dolanan tradisional terlebih pada generasi muda di Kabupaten
Magelang menjadi dasar terbentuknya Kampoeng Dolanan. Salah satu cara yang
dilakukan oleh pihak Kampoeng Dolanan supaya dolanan tradisional tetap lestari
dan melegenda yaitu dengan menerapkan strategi komunikasi pariwisata. Metode
yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data
menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Sumber data yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara mendalam dengan informan
dari Kampoeng Dolanan dan jajaran stakeholder yang terlibat serta observasi di
Kampoeng Dolanan serta Dinas Pariwisata Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Kabupaten
Magelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep stakeholder dan model pentahelix
untuk pengembangan pariwisata. Stakeholders atau pemangku kepentingan yang
terlibat antara lain Dinas Pariwisata, Kepemudaan, dan Olahraga Kabupaten
Magelang, Akademisi berbagai tingkat pendidikan, pihak bisnis baik pengrajin
souvenir dan pemilik penginapan sekitar Kampoeng Dolanan, wartawan yang
tergabung dalam PWI (Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia) sebagai pihak media,
komunitas PokDarWis Bumiharjo. Kelima stakeholders saling berkaitan untuk
membantu pengembangan di Kampoeng Dolanan. Dalam menjalankan strategi
komunikasi pariwisata, Kampoeng Dolanan menggunakan beberapa cara promosi
yaitu dengan online dan offline. Selain faktor pendukung, terdapat beberapa
hambatan yang masih menjadi tugas bagi tim Kampoeng Dolanan.

ABSTRACT
The research was motivated by the connection between stakeholders in
Kampoeng Dolanan Borobudur in helping to develop cultural tourism
destinations in Magelang Regency. The development of the Kampoeng Dolanan
tourist destination is carried out with a mission to preserve traditional games that
are almost extinct, to shape the character of the nation's children and to produce
a multiplier effect for all aspects of society. The difficulty of tourism
communication in the modern realm and the decreasing existence of traditional
games or games, especially among the younger generation in Magelang Regency,
became the basis for the formation of Kampoeng Dolanan. One of the ways used
by Kampoeng Dolanan to ensure that traditional dolanan remains sustainable
and legendary is by implementing a tourism communication strategy. The method
used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using observation,
documentation and interview techniques. The data sources used in this research
were in-depth interviews with informants from Kampoeng Dolanan and the ranks
of stakeholders involved as well as observations at Kampoeng Dolanan and the
Magelang Regency Youth and Sports Tourism Office. This research uses the
stakeholder concept and the pentahelix model for tourism development. The
stakeholders or stakeholders involved include the Magelang Regency Tourism,
Youth and Sports Department, academics at various levels of education, business
parties including souvenir craftsmen and inn owners around Kampoeng Dolanan,
journalists who are members of the PWI (Indonesian Journalists Association) as
media, the community PokDarWis Bumiharjo. The five stakeholders are
interrelated to help development in Kampoeng Dolanan. In carrying out tourism
communication strategies, Kampoeng Dolanan uses several promotional methods,
namely online and offline. Apart from supporting factors, there are several
obstacles that are still a task for the Kampoeng Dolanan team.
