ABSTRAK
Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang berkembang seiring berjalannya waktu
memberikan dampak terhadap layanan dalam suatu perusahaan. Kehadiran teknologi aplikasi
pada smartphone berbasis sistem operasi Android dan Windows membawa perubahan
signifikan di segala bidang, termasuk lalu lintas. Pada perusahaan transportasi khususnya Bus
Rosalia Indah yang menjadi objek pada penelitian ini tentunya kehadiran aplikasi sangat
membantu perusahaan maupun pengguna transportasi bus. Namun aplikasi Rosalia Indah
masih belum memenuhi ekspektasi pengguna dalam segi usability karena masih banyak
kekurangan pada aplikasi ini, banyak pengguna yang mengeluhkan aplikasi ini. UI/UX
aplikasi menjadi faktor penting dalam penggunaan aplikasi. Evaluasi dan perbaikan perlu
dilakukan terhadap UI/UX aplikasi untuk memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang lebih baik
agar desain aplikasi dapat diterima di masyarakat.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi usability dan memberikan rekomendasi
perbaikan pada aplikasi Rosalia Indah menggunakan kombinasi model Usability Testing dan
Heurstic Evaluation yang merupakan model untuk mengukur usability dari sudut pandang
pengguna umum dan juga evaluator expert. Untuk model Usability Testing berfokus pada 3
aspek yaitu Efficiency, Errors, dan Satisfaction menggunakan metode PSSUQ V3 dengan
jumlah 16 pertanyaan dengan 5 skala likert. Kemudian untuk model Heuristic Evaluation
menggunakan 4 evaluator expert yang ahli dibidang UI/UX atau IT. Data yang digunakan
dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden yang belum pernah menggunakan aplikasi Rosalia
Indah. Kemudian data yang diperoleh lalu diolah menggunakan bantuan software Microsoft
Excel dan IBM SPSS 25.
Hasil penelitian ini menggunakan model Usability Testing yang didapatkan yaitu
tingkat efisiensi masuk pada kategori sangat cepat berdasarkan nilai Efficiency yaitu 0,0162
goals/sec yang berarti pengguna dapat mengerjakan suatu tugas atau fitur dengan sangat
cepat, berdasarkan nilai Errors yaitu 9% dan masuk pada Percentile 99%, serta kepuasan
pengguna masuk pada kategori di bawah rata-rata berdasarkan nilai rata-rata Overall pada
komponen Satisfactions yaitu 3,12 yang berarti pengguna merasa kurang puas terhadap
desain antarmuka dan kinerja dari aplikasi Rosalia Indah. Pengimplementasian kedua model
tersebut mampu menemukan menemukan 32 permasalahan yang dirasakan pengguna umum
dan 18 permasalahan yang ditemukan evaluator expert. Dari 18 permasalahan terdapat 9
temuan masalah bersifat major, 5 temuan masalah bersifat minor, 4 temuan masalah bersifat
cosmetic. Kombinasi model Usability Testing dan Heuristic Evaluation mampu memberikan
rekomendasi prioritas perbaikan pada permasalahan terkait User Interface (UI) yang nyata
dirasakan oleh pengguna. Rekomendasi prioritas perbaikan yang didapatkan berjumlah 8
permasalahan. Tingkat keparahan tertinggi terletak pada 4 heuristik, antara lain Visibility of
system status, Match between system and the real world, User control and freedom dan Help
user recognize, diagnose, and recover from Errors. Rekomendasi prioritas perbaikan tersebut
menghasilkan 6 mock-up perbaikan tampilan desain antarmuka aplikasi.

ABSTRACT
The development of information technology that develops over time has an impact on
services in a company. The presence of application technology on smartphones based on the
Android and Windows operating systems has brought significant changes in all fields,
including traffic. In transportation companies, especially Bus Rosalia Indah, which is the
object of this research, of course, the presence of an application is very helpful for
companies and users of bus transportation. However, the Rosalia Indah application still does
not meet user expectations in terms of usability because there are still many deficiencies in
this application, many users complain about this application. Application UI/UX is an
important factor in application use. Evaluation and improvements need to be made to the
UI/UX of the application to provide a better user experience so that the application design
can be accepted in the community.
This research aims to evaluate usability and provide recommendations for
improvements to the Rosalia Indah application using a combination of Usability Testing and
Heuristic Evaluation models, which are models for measuring usability from the perspective
of general users and expert evaluators. The Usability Testing model focuses on 3 aspects,
namely Efficiency, Errors, and Satisfaction using the PSSUQ V3 method with a total of 16
questions with 5 Likert scales. Then for the Heuristic Evaluation model, 4 expert evaluators
who are experts in UI/UX or IT are used. The data used in this research were 100
respondents who had never used the Rosalia Indah application. Then the data obtained was
processed using Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS 25 software.
The results of this research using the Usability Testing model obtained are that the
efficiency level is in the very fast category based on the Efficiency value, namely 0.0162
goals/sec, which means that users can carry out a task or feature very quickly, based on the
Errors value, which is 9% and is in the Percentile. 99%, and user satisfaction is in the below
average category based on the overall average score for the Satisfactions component, namely
3.12, which means users are less satisfied with the interface design and performance of the
Rosalia Indah application. Implementing the two models was able to find 32 problems felt by
general users and 18 problems found by expert evaluators. Of the 18 problems, 9 problem
findings were major, 5 problem findings were minor, 4 problem findings were cosmetic. The
combination of Usability Testing and Heuristic Evaluation models is able to provide priority
recommendations for improvements to problems related to the User Interface (UI) that are
actually felt by users. The recommendations for priority improvements obtained amounted to
8 problems. The highest level of severity lies in 4 heuristics, including Visibility of system
status, Match between system and the real world, User control and freedom and Help user
recognize, diagnose, and recover from Errors. These improvement priority recommendations
resulted in 6 mock-ups for improvements to the application interface design.
