ABSTRAK
PT Kamila Suryagas Sejahtera salah satu perusahaan distributor Gas LPG
NPSO (Non-Subsidi) berdiri pada tahun 2018 yang memiliki cakupan distribusi
untuk wilayah Yogyakarta dan sekitarnya. Perusahaan yang terbilang baru berdiri
ini memiliki proses distribusi yang masih belum optimal dikarenakan sering terjadi
keterlambatan dalam pengiriman yang disebabkan oleh lokasi pelanggan yang
tersebar dan penentuan rute yang masih berdasarkan pengetahuan driver saja.
Dengan waktu pengiriman terbilang lama tersebut berdampak terhadap biaya
distribusi khususnya pada bahan bakar transportasi karena kendaraan menempuh
perjalanan yang panjang.
Dalam penelitian ini akan cari solusi permasalahan dengan cara menentukan
rute distribusi yang optimal dengan melakukan pengoptimalan dengan salah satu
metode metaheuristik yaitu Algoritma Differential Evolution. Pada proses
menentukan rute distribusi nantinya akan dibantu dengan menggunakan software
MATLAB R2020. Proses dari penentuan rute distribusi ini terdiri dari beberapa
tahapan yaitu inisialisasi, mutasi, crossover, dan seleksi.
Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengolahan rute
dengan metode Algoritma Differential Evolution berhasil mendapatkan rute yang
lebih optimal dari rute awal perusahaan, dimana terdapat penghematan jarak
tempuh setiap harinya. Penghematan jarak tempuh yang diperoleh sebesar 500,97
Km sehingga memangkas biaya transportasi sebesar Rp214.999,63 dengan
persentase penghematan sebesar 31.15%.

ABSTRACT
PT Kamila Suryagas Sejahtera, one of the NPSO (Non Subsidized) LPG Gas
distributor companies, was established in 2018 which has a distribution range for
Yogyakarta and surrounding areas. This relatively new company has a distribution
process that is still not optimal because delivery delays often occur due to scattered
customer locations and route determination which is still based on driver
knowledge alone. With a relatively long delivery time, this has an impact on
distribution costs, especially for transportation fuel because vehicles travel long
distances.
In this research, a solution to this problem will be found by determining the
optimal distribution route by optimizing it with one of the metaheuristic methods,
namely the Differential Evolution Algorithm. In the process of determining the
distribution route, you will be assisted by using the MATLAB R2020 software. The
process of determining the distribution route consists of several stages, namely
initialization, mutation, crossover, and selection.
Based on the results of this study, it shows that processing the route using
the Differential Evolution Algorithm method succeeded in getting a more optimal
route from the company's initial route, where there were daily mileage savings. The
mileage savings obtained are 500.97 Km, thereby reducing transportation costs by
IDR 214,999.63 with a saving percentage of 31.15%.
