Abstract
Research area is in Paningkaban and its nearby, Gumelar sub-district, banyumas district, Central Java. The research objective is to show the relationship of geology with geochemical analysis on research areas that affect of distribution pattern for gold mineralization. Research methodology begins with data collection. laboratory analysis, cartography and reports. This study includes the observation of geomorphology, stratigraphy, structure and alteration mineralization. Geomorfology study area is composed of four units of the original form of volcanic original shape, structural, karst and fluvial. Stratigraphy is composed of seven units of litho and two lithodem, namely the unit-volcanic breccia Halang, Halang sandstone unit, of Kumbang andesit lava unit, unit-volcanic Tapak breccia, Tapak sandstone unit, Tapak limestone unit, alluvial deposits, and intrusion of andesite. Alteration zone are grouped into three types, namely argillic alteration, propylitic, and sub-propylitic. Mineralization encountered is pyrite (FeS2), chalcopyrite (CuFeS2), Galena (PbS) and bornite (Cu5FeS4). Analysis of macroscopic structure obtain in the general direction of the straightness is trending Northwest-Southeast, and Northeast-Southwest. This study will emphasize on the measurement and analysis to determine pattern of the presence of the elements Cu, Pb, Zn, Ag, and Au wich affect the process of mineralization of gold and other minerals.
