Abstract

Selection of suppliers is to determine the best supplier based on several criteria that are important to the company. Therefore, the selection of suppliers is the problem of multi-criteria decision making (MCDM). Current research trends are combining two or more methods of MCDM in the selection of suppliers. However, the coalition does not necessarily produce a better model. A good model in the supplier selection is not sensitive to changes in criteria
weights. Many studies, such a s Polat (2015), Pitchipoo et al. (2013) and others, make changes to the weighting of criteria not based on rea l conditions. This study proposes a new way to perform a sensitivity analysis on the model of supplier selection. The proposed method will prove that the conclusions of previous resea rch in the supplier selection (Polat, 2015; Pitchipoo et al. (2013)) which combines two MCDM is not necessarily better than just one MCDM only
