Abstract

ABSTRAK
Di masa pandemi COVID-19, fokus masyarakat tertuju pada masalah kesehatan. Hal
ini menjadi tantangan yang harus dihadapi oleh anggota Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan
Keluarga (PKK) dalam menyebarkan informasi kepada masyarakat sekitarnya.
Kenyataan di lapangan, serta kendala yang dihadapi diantaranya adalah beberapa
masyarakat menganggap bahwa mereka tidak pernah berpergian kemana-mana,
sehingga pencegahan virus cenderung diabaikan. Mereka menganggap virus ini hanya
menyerang ketika mereka berpergian kemana-mana. Dengan adanya pandemi
COVID-19 ini, peneiti tertarik untuk meneliti bagaimana strategi komunikasi PKK
yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang kesehatan pada
masa pandemi COVID-19.
Metodologi yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan wawancara
mendalam Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori perencanaan dan
teori informasi organisasi. Data penelitian ini didapatkan dari wawancara mendalam
dan didukung oleh dokumentasi foto kegiatan yang dilakukan. Objek yang diteliti
dari penelitian ini adalah evaluasi strategi komunikasi pada masa pandemi COVID-19
dengan subjek penelitian PKK di Desa Lembursawah, Kecamatan Cicantayan,
Kabupaten Sukabumi. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa evaluasi dari strategi
yang dilakukan oleh PKK Desa Lembursawah dalam meningkatkan kesadaran
masyarakat Desa Lembursawah terhadap kesehatan di masa pandemi saat ini adalah
dengan melakukan cara sosilasisasi secara terus menerus dan berulang serta faktor
yang mempengaruhi strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan adalah karena masyarakat di
Desa Lembursawah memiliki sebagian besar penduduk yang berada di kelas sosial
menengah kebawah, sehingga kurang teredukasi informasi mengenai COVID-19.

ABSTRACT
During the COVID-19 pandemic, people's focus is on health issues. This is a
challenge that must be fixed by Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK)
members in disseminating information to the surrounding community. The reality on
the ground, as well as the obstacles faced, include some people thinking that they
never travel anywhere, so virus prevention tends to be neglected. People think this
virus only attacks when they travel everywhere. With the COVID-19 pandemic,
researchers are interested in researching how the PKK communication strategy was
carried out in increasing public awareness about health during the COVID-19
pandemic.
The methodology used is qualitative research with in-depth interviews. The theories
used in this research are planning theory and organizational information theory. This
research data was obtained from in-depth interviews and supported by photo
documentation of the activities carried out. The object of this research is the
evaluation of communication strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic with the
research subject PKK in Lembursawah Village, Cicantayan District, Sukabumi
Regency. From the results of the study it was found that the evaluation of the strategy
carried out by the Lembursawah Village PKK in increasing the awareness of the
Lembursawah Village community towards health during the current pandemic was to
carry out continuous and repeated socialization methods and the factors that
influenced the communication strategy carried out were because the people in the
village Lembursawah has most of the population who are in the lower middle social
class, so there is less educated information about COVID-19.
