Abstrak
Perkembangan industri di bidang sandang semakin berkembang pesat.
Banyaknya pengusaha UMKM bermunculan dan berlomba dalam penjualan produk
terutama pada persaingan produk tas kulit di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan
di UMKM Alra Lifestyle yang mana merupakan salah satu UMKM yang
memproduksi kerajinan tas kulit. Terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang terjadi di
area produksi, seperti penataan meja kerja yang kurang rapi dan penataan bahan
produksi dengan peralatan yang masih bercampur.
Salah satu pendekatan yang digunakan untuk memperbaiki permasalahan
yang ada pada UMKM Alra Lifestyle adalah penerapan seiton (penataan). Metode
ini menawarkan cara untuk menata area kerja agar mengurangi kegiatan pencarian
sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kerja. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan
produktivitas pekerja dengan menghitung waktu kerja sebelum dan setelah
penataan, Dengan dilakukan uji keseragaman data, uji kecukupan data, dan
perhitungan waktu baku.
Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa jika dilakukan terus menerus
penerapan seiton (penataan) dapat menghasilkan peningkatan produktivitas kerja.
Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil penerapan seiton (penataan) yang mendapatkan
peningkatan efisiensi kerja sebesar 9,5%. Ini didapatkan dari hasil waktu baku
sebelum penerapan seiton (penataan) sebesar 3220,545 detik dan setelah melakukan
penerapan seiton (penataan) sebesar 2912,416 detik. Sehingga diperoleh selisih
waktu sebesar 308,129 detik atau 5,13 menit dari waktu sebelum dan sesudah
penataan.

Abstract
The development of fashion industries are growing fast. The number of
MSME entrepreneurs is emerging and competing in the sale of products, especially
in the competition of leather bag products in Yogyakarta. This research was
conducted in MSME Alra Lifestyle which is one of the MSMEs that produce leather
bag crafts. There are some problems that occur in the production area, such as the
arrangement of work desks that are not neat and the arrangement of production
materials with equipment that is still mixed.
One of the approaches used to fix the problems that exist in MSMEs Alra
Lifestyle is the application of seiton (arrangement). This method offers a way to
organize the work area to reduce search activities so as to increase work
productivity. To find out the increase in worker productivity by calculating the
working time before and after the arrangement, the data uniformity test, data
adequacy test, and standard time calculation are carried out.
From the results of the research, it is known that if it is carried out
continuously the application of seiton (arrangement) can result in an increase in
work productivity. This can be seen from the results of the application of seiton
(arrangement) which has an increase in work efficiency of 9,5%. This is obtained
from the results of the standard time before the application of seiton (arrangement)
of 3220,545 seconds and after applying seiton (arrangement) of 2912,416 seconds.
So that the difference in time is 308,129 seconds or 5,13 minutes from the time
before and after the arrangement.
