Abstract

Saat ini KM Aluminium menerapkan metode first come first serve. ABSTRACT KM Aluminum is a company that manufactures kitchen utensils which come from liquid aluminum raw materials into several products such as pan lid and pan handle. KM Aluminum to date has been very rarely able to complete the request on time due to poor production scheduling. As a result, orders from KM Aluminum exceed the stipulated time. Currently KM Aluminum applies the first come first serve method. The purpose of this research is to make flowshop production scheduling with dynamic order arrival times to minimize the total delay time in KM aluminum and reduce the percentage of delays. Data collection methods are obtained in several ways, namely the number of customer reservations, processing time data at each work station, order date, and due date. In this study the data obtained were then sorted by due date. If there is the same due date prioritized orders that have arrived earlier. After that the scheduling is made. Based on the research results of the flow of production flowshop products using earliest due date, experiencing delays resulted in 30.30% while the first come first serve method determined by the company is 69.69%. These results suggest that the earliest due date method can reduce delays in scheduling so that proposals can be applied to subsequent bookings. Keywords: EDD, FCFS, scheduling, flowshop
