Abstract
The achievement of the lostling overbudent target is not enough to meet the needs of production targets owned by PT. Trans Coalindo, amounting to 100,000 bcm / month, with a valume cover layer that covers the distance between the 400 meter mine to the landfill site. Discharge of overbuden is done by peeling the cover layer of the soil, where the stripping material is loaded and transported to the disposal. Overbuden transport activity using Scania P 280 dump truck. Total production of loading equipment with current unit number is 175.74 bcm / hr and production of transport with 1 unit is 45,19 bcm / hr. So to meet the desired need to know how many mechanical devices are used to meet production needs. From field research results of sequences affecting production in the field, production can be improved by emphasizing the working time limits of the mechanical devices used and the addition of 1 hour working time on each shift. So that work efficiency increased from 77% to 86% on excavation equipment and 74% to 88% in conveyance. Thus production also increased from 82,248.46 BCM / month to 101,970.15 BCM / month on loading equipment and 61,464.96 Bcm / month to 80,569.57 BCM / month on freight. But not enough to meet the targets that have been determined. The return effort is made by pursuing the first production of rising loading devices and achieving the specified production targets. So the need for the addition of transportation equipment as much as 1 unit of Scania P380 dumptruck with production increased to 107,426.10 bcm / month. Thus an increase to meet production targets of 100,000 bcm / month of loading equipment can be met.
