PT MJOINT implements Make-to-Order (MTO) production strategy to fulfill various order according to what customers demands. A long lead time are often causes delays in production so as to force companies issued the fees are for overtime. Companies need to implement a production system that is able to meet very diverse orders and have fast response time. Based on these problems Mass Customization (MC) strategy will be applied. This strategy uses concept of production that based on orders and inventory. The application of this strategy expected to reduce lead time so that delayed production no longer occur. The result of this research showed that by shifting the position of CODP can reduce lead time from 30 days to 26 day. With this reduction the production delay can be overcome. In terms of the cost production system the companies will spend less cost and gain more advantages compared to before applied this strategy.
