Abstract
The research aims to analyze labor, foragefeed and concentrate that affect the production of fattening beef cattle and to analyze the profit of business fattening beef cattle infarmer group “Sedyo Makmur “at Umbulmartani Village Ngemplak Sub District Sleman Regency.The basic methods usedin the study is a descriptive method.Implementation of the method had used survey. The method of determining location of the research used purposive and the respondents acquired by using census.Kinds of data used are primary and secondary data.Sources of data obtained from members of farmer group "Sedyo Makmur" at Umbulmartani Village Ngemplak Sub District Sleman Regency.The technique of collecting the data are by interview, observation.Cobb-Douglas function analysis used in this research to analysis the factors that affect the production ofbeef cattle.The results showed that the factors that affect the production of beef cattle fattening is foragefeedand concentratethe average profit earned by fattening beef cattle in KTT “Sedyo Makmur” are Rp 6.750.735,83 with an average of two cows for one period. Keywords : Factor Production, Profit, Fattening beef cattle Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh tenaga kerja, pakan hijauan dan pakan kosentrat terhadap produksi penggemukan sapi potong dan menganalisis keuntungan usaha penggemukan sapi potong pada kelompok tani ternak “Sedyo Makmur” di Desa Umbulmartani Kecamatan Ngemplak Kabupaten Sleman. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan metode survei. Metode penentuan lokasi penelitian menggunakan purposive dan penentuan responden menggunakan metode sensus. Macam data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Sumber data yang diperoleh dari anggota kelompok tani ternak “Sedyo Makmur” di Desa Umbulmartani Kecamatan Ngemplak Kabupaten Sleman. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara Wawancara, Observasi, Pencatatan. Untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi usaha penggemukan sapi potong digunakan analisis Cobb-Douglas. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi penggemukan sapi potong adalah pakan hijauan dan pakan konsentrat serta usaha penggemukan sapi potong di KTT “Sedyo Makmur” tersebut menguntungkan yaitu rata-rata keuntungan yang di terima peternak sebesar Rp 6.750.735,83 dengan rata-rata 2 ekor sapi selama 1 periode.
