KRESNO SURYO.W. GROWTH AND QUALITY BROMELIADS LEAF
USING TEA DREGS AND WHITE RICE WASH WATER. Under the
supervision of Rati Riyati. and Heti Herastuti.
Bromeliads is one of the beautiful ornamental potted plants with beautiful leaf.
The appearance of diverse forms, and varying shades of leaf color are the main
attraction for this ornamental plants consumers. The aim of this research is to analyze
the effect of the tea dregs and white rice wash water on the growth and quality of
bromeliads leaf (Neoregelia tricolor), analyzing the effect of white rice wash water
on the growth and quality of bromeliads leaf (Neoregelia tricolor). The study was
conducted in the Agricultural Faculty experiment station at Wedomartani Village,
District Ngemplak, Sleman Yogyakarta from December 2014 through February 2015.
The method used was a field experiment with factorial Randomized Complete Block
Design (RCBD). The first factor is the tea dregs with 3 doses of 10 g, 20 g, 30 g. The
second factor is the rice wash water that consists of 25%, 50%, 100% concentration.
The data analysis used F test with a significance level of 5% while the center using a
different test values DMRT with significance level of 5%.The results of this study
showed that doses of 30g tea dregs better than 10g and 20g dose of tea dregs. Rice
wash water with a concentration of 100% shows the best growth compared to the
concentrations of 25% and 50%.

BROMELIA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN AMPAS TEH DAN AIR
CUCIAN BERAS PUTIH. Dibawah bimbingan Rati Riyati. dan Heti
Herastuti.
Bromelia merupakan salah satu tanaman hias pot berdaun indah yang
banyak digemari masyarakat. Penampilan bentuk yang beraneka ragam, corak
warna daun yang bervariasi merupakan daya tarik tersendiri bagi konsumen
tanaman hias. Tujuan penelitian menganalisa pengaruh pemberian ampas teh dan
air cucian beras putih terhadap pertumbuhan dan kualitas daun bromelia
Neoregelia tricolor , menganalisa pengaruh pemberian air cucian beras putih
terhadap pertumbuhan dan kualitas daun bromelia Neoregelia tricolor. Penelitian
dilakukan di dusun Tonggalan Desa Wedomartani, Kecamatan Ngemplak,
Kabupaten Sleman Yogyakarta dari bulan Desember 2014 sampai bulan Februari
2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah percobaan lapangan dengan
Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RCBD) secara faktorial. Faktor pertama
adalah ampas teh terdiri atas 3 dosis yaitu 10 g, 20 g, 30 g. Faktor kedua adalah
air cucian beras terdiri atas 3 konsenterasi yaitu 25%, 50%,100%. Analisis data
digunakan adalah uji F dengan taraf nyata 5 % sedangkan untuk uji beda nilai
tengah menggunakan DMRT dengan taraf nyata 5%.Hasil penelitian ini
menunjukan bahwa dosis ampas teh 30g lebih baik daripada dosis ampas teh 10g
dan 20g. Air cucian beras dengan konsentrasi 100% menunjukkan pertumbuhan
terbaik dibanding konsentrasi 25% dan 50%.
