Abstract
Causal factore of soil mass movement distinguishable become two, which is indirect cause and direct cause. Indirect cause is factors which condition of a slope become the susceptible or ready to make a move. While direct cause is processes which change the slope condition from ready to make a move to become the real correct make a move after abysmal of critical condition. The objectives of this research were to find out susceptible level and soil mass movement susceptibility map at Pringsurat district, Temanggung regency. The method was survey, while determination of sample by purposive manner. The determinatoin of sample by overlay of geology map with Indonesia earth map. Each of sample environments was observed by morphology description. Result of research in the form of soil mass movement susceptibility map. Showed that Pringsurat district which 5.727 ha area consist of three condition of susceptible areas that is low, mean, and high degree. The area of low susceptible degree is 628,9 ha, area of mean susceptible is 3.719,7 ha, and area with high susceptible degree is 1.378,4 ha. Keywords: Soil Mass Movement, Susceptibility
