Abstract
This thesis titled “The Policy of Suez Canal Mega Project Development by President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi in 2014-2015“. This thesis is arranged by Margareth Bala, International Relations Department, Faculty of Social and Politics. This thesis discuss about The Policy of Suez Canal Mega Project Development by President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi in 2014-2015. In the middle of the unstable economy, politic, and social condition in Egypt, President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi took the policy of Suez Canal Mega Project development. This research is based on the problem formulation: “Why President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi developed the Suez Canal mega project in the middle of the troubles that happened in Egypt? The research method used in this thesis is qualitative method, with data collection technique by the library search which is sourced from books, journals, documents, and valid websites. The writer of this thesis used the concept of public policy as the theory framework. The result of this research shows that by the development of Suez Canal mega project, Egypt can increase their national income through the utilization of Suez Canal. The function and capacity of Suez Canal can be increased and Suez Canal region can be developed to be the region of industry, education, mining, even agriculture Keywords: Policy, Suez Canal, Egypt, Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi
