Abstract
Pembangunan merupakan upaya sadar dan terencana dalam memanfaatkan
sumber daya untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup. Sehingga didirikan industri-industri
untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan. Salah satunya adalah industri pemotongan batu andesit
yang dimanfaatkan sebagai ornament hiasan rumah. Daerah penelitian terletak di
kecamatan Dukupuntang, kabupaten Cirebon, Jawa Barat dengan luas sekitar
3690,224 Ha. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak limbah pemotongan
batu andesit terhadap perubahan kualitas lingkungan di hilir tengah sub DAS
Cimanggung, Kecamatan Dukupuntang, kabupaten Cirebon.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode survei, laboratorium dan
wawancara. Metode survey adalah metode pengumpulan data baik pengamatan
maupun pengukuran yang di dapatkan dari lapangan, metode laboratorium adalah
metode untuk mengetahui kualitas air limbah yang diambil di lapangan dan metode
wawancara adalah metode dengan menggunakan hasil quesioner yang telah di
bagikan pada masyarakat di daerah penelitian sebagai pembanding dari kedua
metode survey dan laboratorium. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tahap persiapan,
tahap kerja lapangan, tahap analisis dan evaluasi, dan tahap penyusunan hasil
laporan.
Berdasarkan hasil uji kualitas pada 25 titik sampel, dengan tujuh parameter yang
diuji yakni TSS,TDS,DO,Kekeruhan,pH,Ca dan Mg hanya parameter TSS yang
melebihi baku mutu. yakni pada titik A3 (2.042 mg/l), A6 (4.962 mg/l), A10 (2.356
mg/l), A11 (2.472 mg/l), A12 (6.142 mg/l), A15 (1.134 mg/l), A16 (4.790 mg/l),
A19 (3.670 mg/l) dan A20 (3.322 mg/l) hal ini menyebabkan air sungai keruh dan
menurunkan kadar DO air sungai. Sedangkan untuk hasil uji kualitas tanah, lahan
pertanian yang terkena dampak sedimentasi akibat limbah pemotongan batu andesit
kadar c-organiknya lebih rendah dibandingkan lahan yang tidak terkena dampak. dan
berdasarkan hasil analisis beban endapan sungai pada titik A13 memiliki beban
endapan sungai paling tinggi yaitu 11,12 Ton/hari. Sehingga arahan pengelolaan
yang disarankan adalah membuat bak pengendapan untuk menurunkan kadar TSS
limbah hasil pemotongan batu Andesit tersebut.

Development is a conscious and planned effort in utilizing resources for
subsistence. So established industries to meet the needs. Such as industrial cutting
andesite which is used as home decoration ornaments. Study area is located in the
district Dukupuntang, district of Cirebon, West Java, with an area of 3690.224 ha.
The study aims to determine the impact of waste cutting andesite to changes in
environmental quality in the middle of the downstream sub-watershed Cimanggung,
District Dukupuntang, Cirebon district.
The method used is the method of survey, laboratory and interviews. Survey
method is a good method to collection data both observations and measurements in
getting from the field, laboratory method is a method to determine the quality of
waste water taken in the field and interview method is a method of using the results
of questionnaires that have been distributed to the community in the study area as a
comparison of both survey and laboratory methods. This research was conducted
through the preparation stage, the stage of fieldwork, analysis and evaluation stage,
and the stage of preparation of the report.
Based on the results of quality tests at 25 sample points, with seven parameters
tested namely TSS, TDS, DO, turbidity, pH, Ca and Mg only parameter that exceeds
the quality standard TSS. namely at the point A3 (2,042 mg / l), A6 (4,962 mg / l),
A10 (2356 mg / l), A11 (2,472 mg / l), A12 (6142 mg / l), A15 (1134 mg / l) , A16
(4790 mg / l), A19 (3.670 mg / l) and A20 (3,322 mg / l) this causes turbid river
water and river water to reduce levels of DO. As for the test results of soil quality,
agricultural land affected due to sedimentation of waste cutting andesite-organic C
levels lower than land that is not affected. and based on the results of the analysis of
stream sediment load at point A13 has the highest stream sediment load is 11.12 tons
/ day. So that management directives are recommended to make bath deposition to
reduce levels of TSS cutting waste aggregates the results.
