Abstract

This thesis discusses about policy minister of defense of the united states army lift ban on women to fight. The participation of women in the military is a long history to the military in the United States. In its development after the banning of women to participate in a battle, on January 24, 2013 United States Secretary of Defense finally lift the ban. United States Secretary of Defense goal to lift the ban on women in the United States Army to fight also against the background by a shortage of male soldiers in the United States due to the number of United States intervention in various parts of the world. With the lifting of a ban on female soldiers to fight, women can again participate in a battle though to date the position of women in the United States military is still considered to participate directly in the battlefield.
