Abstract

ABSTRACT PT. Bintang Mitra Sejahtera (PT. BIMA) is a mining company where it is a contractor company of PT. Sinar Tambang Arthalestari (Semen Bima). In activities of mining, PT. BIMA manages limestone and clay mining. Research location is in Quarry Sawangan, located in Sawangan Village, Ajibarang Sub-district, Banyumas District, Central Java Province. Limestone mining currently carried out using Excavator Doosan DX 340-LCA and Excavator Hitachi ZX 330-LC, for load using Dump Truck Hino FM 260 JD. The distance from the mining front toward hopper is 600 – 1000 meter. The problem occurred at the moment is yet to achieve the target production of limestone is 8000 tons/day. The actual production of 3 fleet in Quarry Sawangan with a combination of load transport and haul is 7549.36 ton/day. This is due to the lack of effective working time resulting from barriers that exist made the efficiency of transports be low. Efforts that can be made so that the limestone production target can be achieved to improve the work time so the transport work efficiency can be increased. After the repair is done, on work time effectively acquired production capacity is 8066.44 tons/day.
