Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan sepakbola di Indonesia mengalami banyak peningkatan seiring semakin berkembangnya industri itu sendiri. Di kota Yogyakarta terdapat berbagai macam kelompok suporter yang memproduksi dan memasarkan merchandise suporter. Mereka melakukan semua kegiatan produksi dan pemasaran secara independent dengan dana yang dikelola sendiri. Di tengah ketatnya persaingan industri merchandise, merchandise suporter dapat diterima baik dalam lingkup komunitas maupun masyarakat luas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil dari strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh Curva Sud Shop dalam memasarkan merchandise suporter. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil indept interview (wawancara mendalam), observasi dan studi pustaka. Strategi yang digunakan Curva Sud Shop dalam meraih konsumen adalah marketing mix dan promotions mix. Marketing mix terdiri dari product, price, promotion, dan place. Promotions mix terdiri dari periklanan, penjualan pribadi, promosi penjualan, pemasaran langsung, dan hubungan masyarakat. Kesimpulan, strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang dilakukan Curva Sud Shop berhasil meningkatkan jumlah merchandise suporter walaupun terdapat hambatan berupa perencanaan strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang kurang matang dan minimnya dana produksi. Dan untuk menarik minat beli konsumen Curva Sud Shop mengadakan royalti 20% pada setiap produk untuk PSS Sleman. Disarankan Curva Sud Shop menyusun perencanaan yang matang sehingga strategi komunikasi pemasaran dapat terlaksana dengan teratur dan memperoleh hasil yang lebih maksimal. ABSTRACT Football development in Indonesia through a lot of increasing as the growth of the industry itself. In Yogyakarta, there are various kind of supporter groups that produce and sell supporter merchandise. They do all of production and marketing activity independently with self managed fund. In the strict competition of merchandise industry, supporter merchandise can be well accepted both in community scope and societywidely. The purpose of this study is to know the result of marketing communication strategy carried out by Curva Sud Shop in marketing supporter mercahandise. Research method that hired in this research is qualitative descriptive with qualitative data analysis technique. Data obtained from the result of indepth interview, observation, andliterature study. Strategies used by Curva Sud Shop in attracting consumer are marketing mix and promotions mix. Marketing mix consist ofproduct, price, promotion, andplace. Promotions mix consist of advertising, sales, personal sales, sales promotion, direct marketing, and society relationship. Conclusion, marketing communication strategy that carried out by Curva Sud Shop succesfully increased the amount of supporter merchandise though there is a barrier, that is unripe marketing communication strategy and lack of production fund. And to attract consumer buying desire, Curva Sud Shop create20% royalty for every product for PSS Sleman. It is suggested that Curva Sud Shop should organize good planning so that marketing communication strategy can be implemented regularly and can obatained more maximum result.
