Abstract
PT Nusa Persada Resources is a company engaged in coal mining in the district Lahei, Barito Utara Regency, Kalimantan Tengah Province. Mining activities to be undertaken by PT Nusa Persada Resources will changes the landscape from forest region to the mining region. Based on the regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 07 Year 2014 on Implementation of Reclamation and Mine Closure and legislation related to mining, require mining companies to conduct reclamation on former mining areas so that its function can be restored. With the coal mining operations carried out by open pit mining system as it is implemented by PT Nusa Persada Resources will changes the morphology of the land from its original state prior to mining. These changes will be seen in the mine (pit area), location of transportation facilities, and other mining activities. Minie Design of PT Nusa Persada Resources over a period of 5 years from 2015 until the end of 2019. Mining area is divided into two main areas, named the North Pit and the South Pit. Disturbed land area in the form of the mine, backfilling, and outpit dump at PT Nusa Persada Resources during the period of the first five years of mining (2015-2019) is estimated at about 620.04 hectares. The reclamation area in 2016 was 42,12 hectares, in 2017 was 29,78 hectares, in 2018 was 183,17 hectares, and in 2019 was 123,65 hectares. The total area of reclaimed at PT Nusa Persada Resources estimated at about 378.72 hectares. The equipment used to support the reclamation activities are Excavator Backhoe KOMATSU PC 1000-1 to excavate, Dump Truck HD-680-2 as hauling equipment and CAT Bulldozer D375A.
