Abstract
ABSTRAK Suporter sepak bola selalu identik dengan kekerasan atau kerusuhan, padahal tidak selalu demikian. Di Sleman berdiri sebuah organisasi suporter bernama Brigata Curva Sud (BCS) yang mampu menunjukkan sisi positif dari suporter sepak bola. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola komunikasi yang terbentuk di dalam kelompok suporter sepak bola Brigata Curva Sud (BCS). Konsep yang digunakan untuk mengkaji penelitian ini dengan mengembangkan konsep pola komunikasi dari Cangara dan De Vito. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara mendalam, studi kepustakaan, observasi langsung dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisa data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi antar anggota komunitas Brigata Curva Sud (BCS), di temukan struktur pola komunikasi baru, yaitu pada struktur pola komunikasi forum komunitas, forum koordinator, forum LCS, dan forum BCS. Bentuk dukungan yang di berikan Brigata Curva Sud(BCS) di dalam stadion yaitu berupak reatifitas serta atraksi yang beragam seperti nyanyian, koreografi kertas, bigbanner, handbanner, dan flare. Sedangkan bentuk dukungan yang di berikan Brigata Curva Sud (BCS) saat di luar stadion dapat membantu keuangan Tim PSS Sleman dan bakti social untuk membantu korban bencana alam. ABTRACT Soccer supporters were always identical with violance or riot, though it doesn't has to be that way. There is a soccer supporter organization established in Sleman, called Brigata Curva Sud (BCS), who can show us all the positive sides of soccer supporter. This research is conducted to learn about the communication pattern which is formed in the soccer supporter group Brigata Curva Sud (BCS). The concept usde in this research is by elaborating the concept of communication pattern by Canggara and De Vito. The research method used in this reseach is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique that has been used are deep interview, literature study, direct ovservation, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclussion making. The research result shows that in the communication between Brigata Curva Sud (BCS) community member, a new communication pattern structure has been found on the community forum, coordinator forum, LCS forum, and BCS forum. Supports given by Brigata Curva Sud (BCS) in the stadium are in the forms of creativity and various attraction like singing, paper choreography, big banner, hand banner, and flare. Meanwhile, the forms of supports given by Brigata Curva Sud (BCS) outside the stadium were able to help the PSS Sleman's financial, beside some social work to help disaster victims.
