Abstract

Film “PK” adalah salah satu film Bollywood karya Rajkumar Hirani yang direpresentasikan seperti sebuah kuliah singkat terkait agama dan eksistensi manusia, yang disampaikan dengan cara yang humoris namun cerdas. Dalam film ini Rajkumar Hirani melukiskan sebuah fenomena terkait fakta bahwa Tuhan itu sebenarnya satu, namun “tampak” berbeda karena perbuatan manusia itu sendiri. Berbagai konflik terjadi dalam film ini, salah satunya kesadaran menolong orang lain yang membutuhkan seperti yang dilakukan oleh Peekay terhadap seorang pria tua yang tidak dikenalnya. Konflik -konflik tersebut menimbulkan aspek moralitas yang menjadi pesan dalam film ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan model analisis semiotik Roland Barthes yang menggunakan teknik analisis teks media, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka sebagai teknik p engumpulan data. Tahap analisis data dilakukan dengan mengapresiasikan obyek penelitian, membedah, mencermati, lalu mengkombinasikan hasilnya dengan data pendukung yang didapat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memahami penanda (signifier) dan petanda (signified) nilai-nilai moral dalam film “PK” serta mendeskripsikan makna tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat enam nilai moral yang terkandung dalam film “PK” berdasar dua dari tiga nilai moral menurut Nurgiyanto; nilai moral yang mencakup hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain, dan nilai moral yang mencakup hubungan manusia dengan Tuhannya, yaitu; mengambil hak orang lain, Tuhan sebagai pemberi harapan, tolong menolong, budaya suap menyuap, semua manusia adalah sama, dan berkeyakinan yang benar pada Tuhan. Beberapa dari nilai moral tersebut mengacu pada sebuah proses perbaikan moral dan spiritual antar manusia, serta manusia dengan Tuhan The film "PK" is one of Bollywood film directed by Rajkumar Hirani who represented such a short lecture related to religion and human existence, delivered in a humorous way, but smart. Rajkumar Hirani in this film depicts a phenomenon related to the fact that God is one, but "looks" different because human action itself. Conflicts occur in this film, one of which awareness of helping others in need as practiced by Peekay against an unknown elderly man. These conflicts cause morality aspect of the message in this film. This research is a qualitative research with Roland Barthes semioti c analysis model that uses text analysis techniques of media, documentation, and literature as data collection techniques. The data analysis phase appreciate the object of research, dissect, examine, and then combining the results with supporting data obta ined. The purpose of this research is to know and understand the signifier and signified moral values in the film "PK" and describe the meaning. Based on the research results, there are six moral values contained in the film "PK", based on two of the three moral values according Nurgiyanto: moral values that include human relationships with other human beings, and moral values that include human relationship with God; steal the rights of others, God as the giver of hope, helping each other, the culture of bribery, all humans are the same, and a right way to faith in God. Some of the moral values refers to a process of moral and spiritual improvement between humans, and humans with God
