Abstract
ABSTRAK
Isu reklamasi Teluk Jakarta masih menjadi perbincangan yang hangat di
masyarakat. Isu ini terus berlanjut seiring dengan berkembangnya pro dan
kontra atas terkait kebijakan yang diambil Gubernur DKI. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembingkaian sosok Ahok yang
dilakukan oleh Tempo.co tentang peristiwa proyek reklamasi Teluk Jakarta
pada periode 4 April hingga 22 Mei 2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan
adalah analisis framing model Pan dan Kosicki yang meneliti tentang strategi
pembingkaian media melalui analisis teks dengan steruktur yang sudah
ditentukan yaitu : sintaksis, skrip, tematik, dan retoris. Sampel berita sebanyak
sembilan berita diambil dari portal berita Tempo.co pada periode 4 April
hingga 22 Mei 2016. Judul berita yang dipilih berdasarkan pada kategorisasi isu
yang sudah ditentukan yaitu isu proyek reklamasi teluk Jakarta yang berkaitan
dengan gubernur DKI Jakarta Basuki Tjahja Purnama. Teori yang digunakan
adalah teori new media penggunaan teori ini didasarkan pada objek penelitian
yang merupakan sebuah portal berita online, yang hanya dapat diakses dengan
taknologi dan jaringan komunikasi. Setelah dilakukan analisis teks atas
sembilan berita dengan menggunakan metode analisis framing milik Pan dan
Kosicki. Hasil analisis teks menunjukkan bahwa Tempo.co membingkai sosok
Ahok sebagai sesorang yang berkarakter keras, arogan, teguh pada
pendiriannya meskipun banyak pihak yang tidak setuju dengan adanya proyek
reklamasi Teluk Jakarta. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada pemilihan-pemilihan kata
pada judul maupun body berita. Selain itu juga ditunjukkan oleh pemilihan
narasumber yang cenderung kontra dengan adanya proyak relamasi.

ABSTRACT
Jakarta Bay reclamation issue is still a warm conversation in the community. This
issue continues with the development of the pros and cons related to the measures
taken on the Governor of DKI. This study aims to determine the framing figure of
Ahok in Tempo.co about the events conducted by the Jakarta Bay reclamation
project in a period of 4 April until May 22 2016. The method used is the analysis
of framing a model by Pan and Kosicki framing strategy that examines the media
through text analysis with a structure that has been determined as follows: syntax,
script , thematic, and rhetorical. Samples of nine news news taken from Tempo.co
in a period of 4 April until May 22, 2016. The headline is selected based on the
categorization issue has been determined that the issue of reclamation projects
relating to the Jakarta Bay Jakarta Governor Basuki Purnama Tjahja. The theory
used is the theory of the use of new media theory was based on the object of
research which is an online news portal, which is accessible only by technology
and communication networks. After analyzing the texts by using a framing
analysis method by Pan and Kosicki. The results of the analysis of the text shows
that Tempo.co framing Ahok figure as someone whose character hard, arrogant
even though many people who do not agree with their reclamation project of
Jakarta Bay. This is shown in selection said in the title and body of news. It is also
demonstrated by the selection of speakers who tend to counter with their
reclamation project.
