Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembingkaian berita yang dilakukan Detik.com terhadap peristiwa sidang gugatan Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa ke Mahkamah Konstitusi atas Hasil Pilpres 2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis framing model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki yang meneliti struktur sintaksis, skrip, tematik dan retoris pada setiap berita. Sampel sebanyak 8 judul berita dari 534 berita berkaitan dengan sidang gugatan Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa atas Hasil Pilpres 2014 di Detik.com. Alasan pemilihan judul tersebut karena telah mewakili fakta-fakta dan berita yang ditulis Detik.com. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, frame pemberitaan Detik.com tidak berimbang dan terlihat menyudutkan Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa dan timnya. Sebaliknya pemberitaan mengenai Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla dan KPU diberitakan secara positif. Hal itu terlihat dari penggunaan judul berita yang provokatif, penggunaan narasumber hanya dari satu pihak, dan pemilihan kata yang terkesan menyudutkan Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa. Berdasarkan teori Hirarki media massa Shoemaker dan Reese, keberpihakan tersebut disebabkan faktor organisasi yakni kepemilikan media oleh Jenderal (Purn) Bimantoro sebagai Komisaris Utama Detik.com. Bimantoro merupakan salah satu tim sukses dari pasangan Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla. Faktor organisasi ini kemudian mempengaruhi ideologi media sehingga terjadi ketimpangan pemberitaan. Kata Kunci: Analisis Framing, Media, Pemilu, Berita ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the framing of Detik.com news on the hearing of lawsuit Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa to the Indonesian Constitutional Court towards the result of 2014 Presidential Election events. This research using framing method Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki that examines syntactic structure, scripts , thematic and rhetorical on a news. This research took 8 sample of 534 news related to the hearing of lawsuit Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa towards the results 2014 presidential election in Detik.com. The reason for choosing that news are represented the facts and news written by Detik.com. The results show, Detik.com has unbalanced reporting and visibled to corner Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa and his team. Instead, the news about Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla and the Commission reported positively. Detik.com use provocative headlines, one sided informants, and the choice of words that seem to corner Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa. Based on the theory of mass media hierarchy from Shoemaker and Reese, the bias due to organizational factors that media ownership by Bimantoro as General Commissioner of Detik.com. Bimantoro is one of the successful team-mate Jusuf Kalla-Joko Widodo in their campaign. The organization factor influencing the ideology factor, and then cause imbalanced news .
