Abstract

Klegen's landfill which has operated for 12 years until now still not meet some criteria based on SNI 03-3241-1994 so it is necessary to evaluate the feasibility of land to fit to be used as landfill. Research conducted at the Klegen landfill, Subdistrict Grabag, Magelang district has a purpose: ( 1 ) Evaluating the feasibility Landfill Klegen based SNI 03-3241-1994 . ( 2 ) Providing an alternative location for expansion of klegen's landfill accordance to SNI 03-3241-1994. The method used in this research is the method of mapping, surveying, measurement, assessment, and scoring based on SNI 03-3241-1994. The data obtained are based on the parameters of environmental physical aspects SNI 033241-1994 for Regional criteria (slope, geological conditions, the distance to the source of drinking water, the depth of the water table and the protected forest areas) and criteria Opt (permeability soil, groundwater flow system , flood hazards, biological farming, the path to the location, garbage transportation, street traffic, noise and odors, rainfall, land cover, demographic and aesthetics). These parameters have the score and the weights are then calculated to determine the feasibility of regional criteria and eligibility criteria for the opt-out rate of the landfill. The results that have been achieved in this study that Klegen's landfill had a score of 4 (not feasible, slope parameter) to regional criteria and a score of 274 (feasible) for opt criteria. Based on these results is suggested the displacement of klegen's landfill to a more feasible location based on the scoring result that have been conducted in the Sub-District Grabag.
