Abstract
Coastal and marine areas adalahsuatu strategic area for the development of various business sectors. In addition the coast is rich in natural resources that are strategically able to increase human resources in the environment sekitranya. The growing number of business sectors, with stakeholderdalam development of coastal and marine areas, in the absence of coherence in development it will create a new konflikkonflik. Fedriansyah (2008) in his research entitled Evaluation of Economic Empowerment of Coastal Communities in Muna, said that coastal communities are identical with individuals who live in the area around the beach which is sometimes forgotten by development because government policies have focused on coastal development, Iin Indarti, Ward, 2010. Coastal communities are the people who live and develop social life in the sea or near the sea waters and typically spend most of his life on the waters of the sea. Empowerment of women, especially in the coastal village of the District Sambiroto Tayu Pati regency, synonymous with the motivation that aims to improve living standards. In other words, that women have a stock of coastal diharusnkan to develop in accordance with the existing productive resources. From the above phenomena, the formulation of the research problem is how to influence the empowerment of women to the welfare of coastal communities, whereas daripenelitian goal is to determine the extent of the impact of community empowerment to improve welfare. This research is a quantitative descriptive which describe the existing findings in the field and then analyzed for the effect by using regression, the sample was women in the coastal village of the District Sambiroto Tayu Pati regency totaling 30 people. Results from this study is the empowerment of women affect the increased well-being, this is because women have activity outside the coast of everyday tasks that produce various kinds of food though are made from marine products. This is what has been the driver of the rural economy, especially on the north coast of the island of Java, the village Sambiroto District of Tayu. Wilayah pesisir dan laut adalahsuatu kawasan yang strategis untuk pengembangan berbagai sektor usaha. Selain itu pesisir kaya akan sumberdaya alam yang secara strategis mampu meningkatkan sumberdaya manusia di lingkungan sekitranya. Berkembangnya sejumlah sektor usaha, dengan stakeholderdalam pembangunan wilayah pesisir dan laut, tanpa adanya keterpaduan dalam pengembangannya justru akan menciptakan konflikkonflik baru.
