Abstract

Sistem perawatan mesin yang dilakukan di PLTD Kabupaten Lamandau Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah, selama ini masih bersifat periodic yaitu tindakan perawatan yang dilakukan berdasarkan lamanya waktu operasi mesin yang telah ditentukan oleh perusahaan. Dengan sistem tersebut, kerusakan pada komponen mesin masih ditemukan dalam jangka waktu yang tidak lama. Peranan perawatan terhadap mesin diesel engine komatsu EGS 1200-6 pada bagian maintenance – PLTD Kabupaten Lamandau sangat penting artinya untuk mencegah terjadinya down time produksi, dan perawatan yang paling baik digunakan adalah perawatan pencegahan sebelum terjadinya kerusakan (preventive maintenance). Waktu antar kerusakan adalah selang waktu terjadinya kerusakan setelah dilakukan perbaikan. Untuk menentukan waktu antar kerusakan, langkah pertama yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengukur lamanya waktu operasi mesin setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada setiap kerusakan mesin. Penentuan nilai reliability dihitung berdasarkan data waktu antar kerusakan yang sebelumnya telah dilakukan uji kesesuaian distribusi dan hasilnya sesuai, sehingga dapat dilakukan perhitungan Mean Time Between Failure dan Mean Time Between Maintenance. Berdasarkan perhitungan Mean Time Between Failure dan Mean Time Between Maintenance, maka dapat diketahui rata-rata waktu berapa lama mesin diesel beroperasi hingga terjadi kerusakan dan berapa lama mesin diesel tersebut dapat dilakukan perbaikan untuk dikembalikan seolah-olah sama seperti pada keadaan semula. Dengan kata lain perbaikan yg dimaksud yaitu bersifat pencegahan, sehingga hasil akhirnya dapat berupa jadwal perawatan pencegahan untuk mesin produksi yang digunakan. Kata Kunci: Maintenance, Reliability, Maintainability, Mesin Engine maintenance systems conducted in the Lamandau Regency PLTD province of Central Kalimantan, as long as it still is the periodic maintenance actions performed based on the length of time the machine operation has been determined by the company. With these systems, damage to components of the machine are still found in the not for long periods of time. The role of the care of diesel engine komatsu EGS 1200-6 maintenance at the Regency Lamandau PLTD are extremely important means to prevent the occurrence of production down time, and care that is best used is preventive care before the onset of deterioration (preventive maintenance). Between the time the damage is an interval the occurrence of damage after a repair. To specify the time between breakdowns, the first step is to measure the length of time the engine operation after repairs on any damage to the machine. The determination of the value of reliability data is calculated based on the time between the previous damage that has been done the conformity test results and appropriate distribution, so you can do the calculation of Mean Time Between Failure and Mean Time Between Maintenance. Based on the calculation of Mean Time Between Failure and Mean Time Between Maintenance, then it can be known to average time how long the diesel engine operates until the crash and how long the diesel engines can be made to be returned as if the same as in the original state. In other words meant that yg is improvement of prevention, so the end result can be a schedule of preventive care for production machines that are used.
