Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembingkaian yang dilakukan Detik.com terhadap berita penerapan Rancangan Undang-Undang Pemilihan Kepala Daerah tidak langsung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis framing dengan menggunakan model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki yang meneliti struktur sintaksis, skrip, tematik, dan retoris dalam setiap berita. Sebanyak 8 dari 527 berita periode September 2014 – Februari 2015 menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini. Alasan pemilihan 8 sampel tersebut adalah karena secara keseluruhan telah mewakili pemberitaan mengenai penerapan Rancangan Undang-Undang Pemilihan Kepala Daerah tidak langsung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya keberpihakan Detik.com pada pilkada langsung. Dari sisi realitas media, Detik.com memiliki jarak antara realitas yang terjadi di lapangan dengan konstruksi realitas yang dituangkannya kedalam sebuah berita. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan oleh penggunaan judul dan narasumber yang berasal dari pihak pendukung pilkada langsung. Berdasarkan teori Hirarki media massa milik Shoemaker dan Reese, keberpihakan tersebut didasari oleh faktor organisasi, dimana setiap organisasi memiliki tujuan tersendiri dan tujuan tersebut seringkali mempengaruhi isi berita. Hal itu juga diperkuat oleh faktor ideologi Chairul Tanjung sebagai pemilik Trans Corp yang membawahi Detik.com sehingga ideologi tersebut juga berpengaruh pada isi berita. Untuk itu, pembingkaian berita yang dilakukan media online Detik.com tidak terlepas dari ideologi pemiliknya. Kata kunci: Analisis Framing, Pemilihan Kepala Daerah, Media Online, Berita. This study aims to determine the framing of Detik.com news in adoption the elections Law Draft of Regional Head Indirectly. This research use framing analysis method by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki that examines the syntactic structure, script, thematic, and rhetorical in a news. This research took 8 samples from 527 news period September 2014 – February 2015. The reason for the selection of 8 sample as a whole is due to have represented the news in adoption the election law draft of regional head indirectly. The result show, that Detik.com has unbalanced reporting and visibled to support direct elections. In terms of mass media reality, Detik.com has a distance between the reality and the construction of media reality written into a news. This is shown by the use of titles and informants who supports direct elections. Based on the theory of mass media hierarchy from Shoemaker and Reese, Detik.com unbalanced news caused by organizational factors that mean each organization has its own purpose and that purpose can influence the news content. It was also reinforced by ideological factors of Chairul Tanjung as the owner of Trans Corp which oversees Detik.com so that ideological can affect the news content. Therefor the framing that conducted by online media Detik.com can't be separated from the owners ideology. Keyword: Framing Analysis, Local Election, Online Media, News
