Abstract

Koran Harian Pagi Tribun Jabar merupakan perusahaan surat kabar di Kota Bandung. Permasalahan yang diteliti yaitu penentuan rute distribusi koran harian pagi dari depot kepada agen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan rute-rute pendistribusian baru sehingga dapat meminimalkan total waktu, jarak dan biaya transportasi perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah ini adalah dengan Clarke and Wright Saving Heuristic dan Nearest Neighbour. Metode Clarke and Wright dan Nearest Neighbour memiliki cara kerja dengan memilih lokasi agen berdasarkan jarak terdekat dengan depot saat pendistribusian dan menentukan agen berdasarkan nilai penghematan jarak terbesar sehingga dihasilkan rute pendistribusian baru yang efektif dan juga efisien. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh 4 rute baru dengan total jarak 192,1 km, total waktu tempuh 383,8 menit, dan biaya transportasi sebesar Rp 11.181.617. Kata kunci: Rute Pendistribusian, Clarke and Wright, Nearest Neighbour, Jarak Tempuh, Total Waktu Tribune Jabar Daily Morning Newspaper is a newspaper company in the city of Bandung. The problems that are examined is to determine the distribution routes of the daily newspaper from depot to the agent . This study aims is to determine the new distribution routes so can reduce the total time, distance and transportation cost. The method used to solve this problem is Clarke and Wright Savings Heuristic and Nearest Neighbour . Clarke and Wright method and Nearest Neighbour has a way of working with the selecting agent locations based on the nearest distance to the depot and determining an agent based on the value of saving the largest distance thus generated a new distribution routes that is effective and efficient. The results of this study obtained 4 new routes with a total distance is 192.1 km , the total travel time is 383.8 minutes , and the cost of transportation is Rp 11,181,617 .
