Abstract
Saat ini sektor industri memegang peranan penting dalam era pembangunan, terutama di Indonesia yang sedang menuju negara industri. Munculnya industri besar maupun kecil baik perusahaan milik pemerintah ataupun swasta akan menjadi tonggak dalam memajukan bangsa, hanya perusahaan yang mempunyai daya saing tinggi yang berperan aktif dalam usaha peningkatan produktivitas serta melibatkan peran aktif karyawan dalam permasalahan dalam perusahaan. PT. Aneka Adhilogam Karya - Klaten adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pengecoran logam, dimana dibutuhkan kualitas produk yang tinggi untuk dapat bersaing dengan perusahaan-perusahaan lain yang bergerak dibidang yang sama. Produk tersebut antara lain, tiang lampu jalan raya, menthol bulat, menthol persegi, dan pipa baja. Produk yang dihasilkan tersebut tidak selalu sesuai dengan standar yang sudah ditetapkan. Jumlah yang tidak sesuai standar (cacat) cukup banyak, sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya untuk meminimasi jumlah produk cacat. Dari hasil pengolahan data dapat disimpulkan beberapa hal, antara lain dapat dilihat bahwa frekuensi cacat yang paling besar terjadi adalah cacat membengkak, kemudian diikuti cacat rongga udara, cacat pergeseran, cacat rontokan cetakan, sedangkan jumlah cacat terkecil adalah cacat penyusutan. Kecacatan yang dominan terjadi adalah cacat membengkak, ini berarti kecacatan membengkak menjadi perhatian utama dalam perbaikan yang akan dilakukan. Dan salah satu penyebab terjadinya produk cacat dapat dilihat melalui diagram fishbone yaitu faktor kelalaian manusia (operator) dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Kata kunci: Produk cacat, Proses pengecoran, seven tools Currently the industrial sector plays an important role in the era of development, especially in Indonesia, which was heading for industrialized countries. The emergence of large and small industries either private or government-owned companies will be a milestone in the development of the nation, only companies that have high competitiveness that play an active role in efforts to increase productivity and involve active participation of employees in the company issues. PT. Assorted Adhilogam work - Klaten is a company engaged in metal casting, which takes high quality products to be competitive with other companies engaged in the same. Such products include, road light pole, round menthol, menthol square, and steel pipe. The products obtained are not always in accordance with the standards that have been defined. The amount that is not standards-compliant (handicapped) quite a lot, so efforts should be made to minimize the number of defective products. From the data processing can conclude several things, among others, can be seen that the greatest frequency of defect happened is flawed swell, followed by the air cavity defect, defect shifting, crumbling mold defects, while the number of defects is the smallest shrinkage defects. Disability is a disability that occurs predominantly swell, swell disability means a major concern in the improvements that will be done. And one of the causes of defective products can be seen through the fishbone diagram human error factor (operator) in carrying out their duties.
