Abstract

Pamella Supermarket is one place of business in the retail industry. Products sold in the form of daily necessities needed by consumers, both basic food products as well as products of other needs. During the operations, Pamella Supermarket cooperates with several suppliers such as equal employment contracts that are tailored to the needs of Pamella Supermarket, situational cooperation contract as entrusted goods, rental counter, and regular cooperation contract. As a result of some form of contract this agreement, then the form of the payment system is also done different. In this study, single-item inventory modeled by considering the incremental discount factor, expiration, and delayed payments. The proposed inventory model refers to the inventory model by Goyal (1985) regarding the delay in payment, the inventory model by Tersine (1994) on the incremental discount factor, and the product expiration by Lukito models (2008). This study is based on a cooperation contract suppliers that are tailored to the needs of Pamella Supermarket. One product that collaborates is a 1.5 liter coca cola product. Validation of the model to the proposed model performed use trial and error with 25 iterations. Iterations were selected as the most minimum total inventory cost (TC) is the 8th iteration to produce a minimal amount of expired products and total inventory cost is minimal. The total cost of inventory at a minimum of Rp 38083920,00 resulting from the optimal order quantity ( ∗) amounted to 2575 units, the number of expired products ( ∗) amounted to 970 units, and the time to reservation is made ( ∗) of 0.44 the same year with 161 days. Key words : deterministic model, single item, incremental discount factor, expiration, delayed payments, with no returns.
